We are also driving home from New York on Saturday morning, around 10 AM. Will be awesome to miss all of the Sunday nightmare traffic and also have virtually the entire weekend left back at the homestead.

My FiL asked if I wanted to go out hunting tomorrow morning. If it was in the 20s I would consider it, but it is supposed to be 9 here with a breeze. Thankfully, he got a doe earlier today which we will be skinning later.

Fantastic commute, ample parking. The afternoon Rt. 28 crowd will find a way to **** it up, but for now it was a pleasure.

Rt. 28 to 909 to 366 to 380 is a pretty nifty way to get out to 981.

Parking garage was surprisingly full today, particularly for a Friday and on Snowpacalypse Eve. Something big going on at the convention center?

I just got in. Waited for everything to open/die down and sailed in with no issue. Thoughts and prayers to the folks caught in that mess this morning.

Yeah the chopper views on the news were lulz. gridlock essentially everywhere. Luckily half of the offices downtown were likely closed today.

I live north of that mess, so I was fine.

People driving in from Oakland to Robinson were saying 90 min to almost 2 hrs.

There was some traffic on the Neville Island Bridge from people coming up 65 this morning, but there was an accident on the other side of the bridge to, so people gotta be dadholes.

Felt bad for the poor souls trying to get into the city from the Parkway West this morning. Every bridge over the Mon was closed due to some barges getting loose.

It's crazy how often I fail to read a thread before posting. I should get better at that.
