Chestnut Ridge High School, New Paris, PA

It's your run of the mill rural Pennsylvania school. They're traditionally very good at wrestling, FBLA, and TSA. They want to be good at football, but aren't. Graduate about 100 people a year, about 97% white, and about 70-80% Trump supporters.

Before Robert C. Byrd got his name on it the new consolidated high school in Clarksburg was going to be called "Sleepy Hollow High School" and our mascot was going to be the "Headless Horsemen", which would of been cool. The strip mine where they built the school was called Sleepy Hollow, so it worked well.

Poolesville? That's a pretty wealthy area IIRC. I could just be thinking of Potomac too

One of two Catholic High Schools in SC

Also: don't ever move your kids half way through high school. It sucks.

It's GREATER Latrobe. As in, the district perceives itself as GREATER than the surrounding areas despite just being another meth addict breeding ground.

But yeah, GLHS '01 wut wut.

And most of the ones that are good at football (especially the smaller ones) aren't good at edumacatin'.

The 0.5% that were black lived on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th street near Washington Junction (I've heard it called the Mine 3 area). It was walking distance from where I grew up, so I'd hang out there and kids would come to my house to play hoops. I think we even played a little street hockey.

I remember there being one black kid in all of my 4 years at BPHS that wasn't from that area. He was the only one that didn't play on the basketball or football team.
