They just explained the 2-point thing. 26-20 means Bengals need two FG or one TD. And if that happened it would give the Steelers the chance win it with a FG. (Presuming the tying FG or go-ahead TD wasn't on the last play or something)

Not if CIN picked up a 2-pt conversion after a TD. They could tie with a FG, tho.

Basically, not getting 1 doesn't really hurt, but getting 2 actually could've been a help. But as things are going, it looks like a moot point.
