^ Same (well, the stats collector/analyst part). Our ebook stats grow every year.

But if you interview students and faculty, they prefer print books. Yet our print circulation drops each year.

Yep on the last one and we’ve really ramped up interactions with department chairs to fine tune the alignment of purchases with curriculum.

Just started reading Mort in the Discworld series...moving right along, although I'm going to have to buy the next book because it's one of the few my library doesn't have

I'm still reading Bag of Bones but had to return the book because my renewals were up

For the record, I don't think e-books are stupid although I never got used to using mine.

Very much so. I like how the characters change, although I do miss some of the previous characters.

I am four books in. You would absolutely love the humor in these novels. It's some of the most intelligent/witty humor I've ever read. Rarely does a book make me smile but these make me smile/chuckle constantly.

You know a writer is good when they can turn Death into one of your favorite characters.

Steve Erickson yet?
I'm afraid not. I've been reading a lot of French and Italian classics lately, so it didn't really fit in.

The French classics may actually prepare you for zeroville, a lot of French cinema in that one

picked up the first volume of Alan Moores Swamp Thing run from the mid 80s on a whim at the comic book store this weekend and it's absolutely fantastic. Some of my favorite comics I've ever read! Can't wait to read more.

Nice! I've been meaning to read those as well. I'm trying Comixology Unlimited for a few months; hopefully it's on there.

Reading Prince of Tides, we bought a copy when we were in Charleston this summer.

Quite entertaining and absurd, its basically a caricature of a Jon Irving book

Whoa, Wool and Shift were excellent. Read them in just a few days. Started Dust today.
Hugh Howey announced that he is writing the teleplay for Wool TV series. Nothing imminent, but that would make a fantastic series.
A WOOL series is officially in development. Really a perfect situation for the series.

Loved it. It was actually more accessible than I expected, but I could see it being a much different experience for someone who's not a film buff.

New books by Don Winslow .
Have you read The Force? I've never read anything by him, but saw it at the library and it looks interesting...

Not sure who you're quoting, but The Force is excellent, as are Power of the Dog and The Cartel. Most of his books are.
