Punch Pizza (http://www.punchpizza.com/ ) and nothing else. The single best thing (and especially in winter the single thing) in Twin Cities...

In my central PA travels I had Best Way Pizza, it was unremarkable.

Buy it by the square slice. Used to be convenient just for the drive thru. Similar to Pal-Minos in its day.

The PSU alum in me also has a soft spot for Gumby's, despite knowing it is objectively crap.
Pokey stick ftw. Until the morning. Then you want to die.

We used to hit up Best Way when I was in reserves in Ebensburg. I want to say the special was something like 3 squares and a drink for $4.25. All things considered, it wasn't a bad deal. Pizza was usually cooked well and always had a decent amount of sauce and cheese.

I'd get it there too. It was always good enough and satisfying. But it's hard to consider it pizza. Same with Little Caeser's. So cheap, fast and good enough but they have to be the lowest rung of pizza.

I'm eating some pizza right now from Champs in Altoona. They pile pepperoni a few layers deep and then burn the top layer a little black. So much oil. It's great.

Primanti's in Altoona now - got their pizza. It was good enough and i'll try it again but it seemed pretty weak quality.

1. This Pittsburgh pizza article comments section went exactly the way you expect it would: http://www.goodfoodpittsburgh.com/how-t ... road-trip/

2. The mikey as godric satire post on page 1 of this thread is worth a revisit.

As much as I love a nice quality crust, when it comes to the rest of the pizza, I like the ingredients to stand out more than the dough.

I didn't vote for any of these, but this thread should be titled, "whats your favorite laxative?"

Can we add Taco Bell to the poll then?

This. I don't get it. I know a ton of people in the NH that are obsessed with it though...

I don't get it either. It's sub-par local chain pizza. No better than Pasquales or Adrians.

I like Sir Pizza because it's different. They also do something different with their crust that makes it taste slightly better than the other options.

Side note I really miss Mamma Lucia's in the Northway Mall complex. They had the best of the local North Hills ones IMO.

I like Sir Pizza because it's thin and easy to pick-up at any time. To me, it tastes no better than anything else. My wife's family loves it though.

I'm partial to Lucci's pizza and pasta in Irwin.

I like how you combined the last option to truly make it your own.
