I guess these guys are more Hardcore than actual true "metal" but they are good **** IMO. The vocals will certainly not be for everyone and it took me a bit to get into them, but now I dig their stuff alot. Good music to lift heavy things to.

The breakdown at 2:40....*swoon*

This sounds pretty cool but of course not coming to the Burgh...

https://pantera.com/metallicatour/

Metallica is doing 2 nights in each city with different opening bands and different sets.

Night one is the Pantera tribute and Mammoth wvh, night two is Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills.

You hear their new song yet? It's not bad. New album 4/14.

I saw the Metallica stuff pop up and I thought it was fake at first lol. It's been about 6 years...so time for a new album lol.

Need to give the new song a listen.

I also assumed they wouldn't hitt Pittsburgh again since we were one of only two shows last year. Seems like they just did a mishmash of us and international dates.

That new song is good. Has a garage inc vibe and sound to it which I dig.

New Metallica song has grown on me. Sounds more like a tribute to their influences than a Metallica song to me, but that isn't really a bad thing.

I've listened to it more the past few days and it basically sounds like kill em all and garage inc had a baby.

There are parts of that song that sound alot like hit the lights but with the feel of garage inc.

I dig it more now after digesting it some. I'm interested to hear the rest of the album and hear the total vision they are going for.

Listened to it a few times now. Like it better than lux aeterna. Pretty powerful message about suicide.
