It is, and I also agree. :thumb: Mexico City was also phenomenal. If you don't already own Live ****: Binge and Purge, you're missing out.
Jason on vocals for Seek and Destroy is about as good as it gets for me. That and Jason's vocals seeming to terrify Kurt in whichever concert this was.

The die mother f***** die part is the one part I miss the most from Creeping death and Jason's vocals.

I really miss Jason (no offense to the dude whose name I continually forget).

Haha poor Robert. I actually think Robert is a better bass player than Jason ..technically at least, but Jason brought so many other things to the band, and just his overall energy can't be matched. He fit the band like a glove live. Sucks that Hetfield was such a dick back in the day and caused him to want to leave.

Robert has been in the band longer than Jason yet it still takes me a a few seconds to remember his name.

I would love to see a full show of Metallica with Lombardo behind the drums.

Speaking of bands that **** over somebody... I still have a distaste for Kerry King over that bullshit.

The biggest fallout from the Maiden concert is that I haven't been able to stop listening to The Raven Age.

I really like Conspiracy, and I'm halfway through Darkness will Rise and I'm really enjoying that as well.

Wish I would've known these guys a bit better before the show cuz I would've had an even more awesome time.

Followup after listening to both albums...

Conspiracy is great. I love this album. Had these songs stuck in my head for a couple weeks now.

Darkness Will Rise is a bit inconsistent. The old singer isn't as good as the new one, and at times is kinda boring. There are still some great songs though... Promised Land and Angel In Disgrace are both great, and certainly The Death March is good, along with some others... but it does suffer at times from the vocals becoming uninteresting.

Also, while Grave of the Fireflies is an excellent closer on the new album, Behind the Mask is not in the same league. The fact that it immediately follows one of their best songs in Angel In Disgrace doesn't help matters.

All in all, I like this band a lot and look forward to where they go from here.

Crap, I somehow didn't see your post til today.

I **** Ghost too, but I don't know that I'm a fan of this. I feel like when they started putting out these vids, they were slightly dark with a hint of humor. Now I feel like they're (the Chapter videos) starting to be more cheese than anything else - which is exactly what Ghost detractors have been saying from the beginning and what Ghost was trying to fight. I do appreciate the video, in that it has a very retro vibe in the way it's shot and the sound immediately makes me think Doors. The song itself though....not exactly the pinnacle of creativity either lyrically or musically....though it is admittedly catchy. Mary on the Cross doesn't do much for me either.

That said - I'm going to the show on 10/10 in Youngstown. PUMPED.

I wanted to punch that dude in the throat very early on in the video.

Joking aside, I haven't seen a Maiden show for a while. Dickinson is getting up there in age. That's not a criticism by any means, but just an observation.

40ish years of performing will do that.
