Yeah, that's unfortunate. I like to always assume positive intent with those places though, so wonder if the logic is that time they spend with that 1 dog could be split up over several dogs that require less hands on time. I'm sure it's probably not but still makes you go hmm.

Cat folks: I had a bunch of cats as a kid, but I got a kitty with my girl. He had like an eye infection and some nasal congestion when we got him. Took some medicine and it got all cleaned up. He completed most of the medicine (there's a long term powder thing that I put in his wet food, no biggie) and was breathing fine for a couple weeks and his eyes weren't watering...
Now, those symptoms seem to be back and the vet was like, "well, it's not serious enough where I want to go back to antibiotics and get him resistant to them" and now the discussion has turned to other irritants. Like, cat litter, cleaning supplies, hair spray, etc.
I'm going to run out and get a cat litter called "Yesterday's Papers" (Rolling Stones song from early on Between the Buttons) because apparently it's...good...or something for breathing. But does anyone else have any kind of experience with a nasal-y, sneezy cat and can provide some guidance for myself and little Dupuis...?

sorry but I've never had a sneezy cat. I did use that "litter" though when my cat had an anal fistula though. I wouldn't use it normally but for special circumstances, it works good.

Neither do I, but changing the litter would be the first thing I’d try, as well.

That rule doesn’t need to apply, either. She squeezed into a box where she could only partially fit, and enjoyed doing so.

Do all terriers do that move where they kick your sod thirty feet backwards after going the bathroom outside? It's...upsetting

I had a cat that preferred plastic bags. I think she liked the rustling. unfortunately she also like to chew on them. I read somewhere that some cats like to eat them because there's animal gelatin in the plastic. the worst part was when they would....exit the other end.Dupuis prefers bags over boxes for some reason...
eventually we just had to make sure that we didn't leave them out.

We had a cat when I was younger that loved nothing more in life than to lick plastic bags and plastic clothes hampers....it was like it was the best thing in the world to her.

My older dog does that sometimes, and most of the time there's like a 3 second delay so he's kicking dirt back in whatever random direction he's now standing.Do all terriers do that move where they kick your sod thirty feet backwards after going the bathroom outside? It's...upsetting

any of you cat owners use one of these for your cats?

I'm considering getting one but I'd like to hear what some real owners think about it.

No, and there's zero chance one of my cats would even enter a room with that thing in it.

My wife got me one of those hydroponic betta tanks for Christmas, and I finally got around to setting it up this weekend.
Her name is Arwen, and she's my first fish since childhood and my first betta. She comes out of the castle to see me when I stop over, so she will be nice to have in the office
Will harvest Wheatgrass and radish in a couple weeks for a smoothie and reseed. Pretty cool.

Neat. I want to get a small tank, too. Just haven't found the right inspiration yet.

I'm growing fond of her very quickly.
Can anyone please recommend a good tank warmer I can get on Amazon by tomorrow? @NTP66? Every one I've looked at the top reviews are about dead fish. Thanks.

3 gallonsHow big is that tank?

I imagine it is tough to regulate temp in a tank that small. Better buy a sump tank with a pump, heat that. Factor in the extra gallons and that makes for one happy fish.
