My coworker has a Subaru Crosstrek. He loves it. It seems like a nice car too. I've only ever ridden in it to lunch a few times.

Mrs Tif took delivery of the Volvo S90 a week or so ago. We drove it to Wine Country last weekend..... do not like. It feels very boaty and unpleasant, and I do not like it. It's perfectly comfortable, just not very fun to drive (especially coming off an Audi). And today, the right rear tire is flat. Fun!

The rear end is also fugly. You should definitely back it into a wall or something, lightly.

My wife is looking into a Mazda CX-5. There are no good looking SUVs, imo. I prefer a car or truck, and we were right there on the cusp of a 4 door truck until the baby came and now she wants an SUV.

My wife is in love with Mazda's. Not sure why, but she is.
We were planning on a CX-5 until she saw a loaded CX-9 and decided she wanted the third row (we've got 3 little ones).

I was close to getting a Mazda hatchback but I didn't fit height wise in it. I think they're one of the more interesting looks in an SUV, I just wish all SUVs didn't look so boring.

For 2017+ models, I'm having a hard time disagreeing with you. The 2017/2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport is probably the only model I'd consider if in the market for an SUV.

I've looked at a variety of them so far, Honda, Kia, Hyundai, Ford - they all look like a morphed egg. I'm looking into Jeeps (I'm a Jeep guy) but the price is obscene for most of their stuff. Mazda really does differentiate themselves from the pack with their front-end at least.

 My wife loathes the newer CR-V because of the egg shape and the rear side windows. My only knock on the Mazda is the large grill up front, which seems to be their trend lately.

I get a convenience factor of an SUV - but I think more now than ever I'd rather just have a 4 door truck lol. But the wife gets what she wants, so SUV it is.

I do know though, that if we don't get a truck now - that's my next vehicle. Whether it's the Jeep Truck, a Tacoma, or F150, it's happening.

My wife was gung-ho about it and I sold myself and went all-in, then the baby stuff came and she completely reversed gears.

In traffic on the way home from an afternoon in Marin, we've been alongside a couple in a Ferrari 360 since crossing the bridge. Driver guy really likes first gear. Car is at least 13 years old, so I'm wondering if he's afraid to change up.

Delorean speedometers are notoriously bad; but thanks to another counting system on the car I have a pretty good idea (within 500mi) or so of what the actual mileage is; should be about 31,000.

While fixing the underlying cause and converting back to the 85mph speedo (from the aftermarket 170mph) I'm taking the opportunity to roll up my odometer to make it more correct. But I have to do it by hand.

In my spare time I've been just spinning it, my own version of a fidget spinner. Started at 21,439 and have gotten to 25,750 so far.

This is the sort of hell you deserve for wearing black socks with khaki shorts.

I typically wear black with gray, I don't have too many khaki colored clothes if any.

Who wears Newbalance? What age do you need to be before people stop looking at you funny for wearing white on white newbalances?

Mrs Tif had someone from her fleet company out to put the donut wheel on, which he did relatively quickly, but she spent close to an hour on the phone on Friday scheduling the tire replacement. Car dealership said they did not have a tire in stock, and it would take a couple days to have one transferred from another Bay Area shop, so she made an appointment for today to have the replacement mounted. She got to the dealership, and they thought she was there for a routine maintenance appointment because no one ordered the tire. So it's going to be another 1-3 days of no driving.
