Once I got used to my touch screen, I found that I didn't need to actually look at it anymore. Most controls are already on the steering wheel, anyway, but still. I wouldn't enter a GPS address or anything while driving, though. That's just dumb regardless of the control mechanism.

is this for all 4 cylinder turbo or just the honda product?
My understanding is that piston blowby with fuel dilution can be an issue for other engines with the combination of direct injection and turbocharging, but it seems to have especially affected that particular Honda engine in cold weather. I don't think it's any reason to stay away from TGDI engines (which are becoming very common anyway), but I'd just make sure to stick to the manufacturer's recommended oil-change intervals and use quality oil. I'd go with at least a synthetic blend, if not a full synthetic oil. For example, General Motors has for years published a recommended oil specification for their cars called "Dexos," and they recently came out with a revised "Dexos1 Gen 2" specification that was designed in part to provide adequate protection for TGDI engines. Any oil on the list at the link below would be fine for a TGDI engine. I change my oil myself, so I know exactly what I'm using (typically Mobil 1). If I used an oil-change service, I'd make sure I knew what they were using and that they wen't putting cheapo oil in the car.

That trailer place on Arona road? Nice. They good to deal with?
Cars & Bikes, Driving & Riding
Yeah, ask for Rex, they gave me a great deal when they didn't have to. I think he showed me the trailer and then wrote up the paperwork on the wrong variant of it. He honored the numbers he quoted on the lower specs after finding the mistake. I was already slightly over budget or I would have met him halfway. Staff was great too, out there in the 20F weather as this was the only day I could pick it up.

I don't see a plate on the trailer. Does it not need one in PA?
Cars & Bikes, Driving & Riding
It's on the opposite fender. I was surprised to see they were full sized plates.
You don't need to carry insurance on them in PA, which I found surprising.

Do however need an annual inspection. You can get a 5 year plate. Which in westmoreland is worth it, because they charge you a silly $5 each renewal.

Speaking of plates...
Cars & Bikes, Driving & Riding
It's $5 annually now, so $25 for a 5 year period. It recently changed.Do however need an annual inspection. You can get a 5 year plate. Which in westmoreland is worth it, because they charge you a silly $5 each renewal.
37.5ft. I wanted it as short as possible so it is the shortest E350 Super Duty they made, mated to a short ball mount, and a trailer with a short a-frame mated to a 15ft deck w/2ft beaver tail. Trailer is exactly 20ft long. How long is that truck/trailer combo?
I spent a long time putting this together to get the right pieces.

Kerbeck Corvette now taking deposits on the C8.
https://carbuzz.com/news/c8-corvette-co ... we-thoughtA dealer accepting deposits for an upcoming model is nothing new, so why is this significant, you may ask? Because the dealer traditionally only starts accepting deposits for a new model a few weeks before it debuts, suggesting the C8 could break cover sooner than expected. The timing could mean the mid-engined Corvette will debut at the New York Auto Show in April, but nothing is official yet. Previous reports have also suggested it will be revealed at a standalone event in the summer.

Anyone ever buy a vehicle from Drive Time? Always seemed a little sketchy; I have only purchased pre owned vehicles from dealers. Looking at a 2015 lexus suv with 54k miles. The car fax is a little hit and miss. It was sold about 18 months later as a certified vehicle with 22k miles. In 17 it has damaged reported to rear, left front, left rear and left side. It doesn’t say accident on the carfax just damage. It was then driven by that owner for 20k more miles and was then sold at an auction on 11/6/18 then sold at auction again on 11/13. It’s had 70 miles on it since then and was listed for sale thru drive time last week. Is this hisorry concerning that it was sold twice in a short period of time at auctions? Not sure if that is common practice
