Stepwgn, Alphard, Vellfire. What's happening right now? Every other conceivable name already trademarked?

Dude, you are obviously missing out on the wide and wonderful world of Japanese car and truck names, such as the Nissan Diesel Big Thumb, Mitsubishi Fuso Super Great, Nissan Homy, Toyota Aygo, Honda Freed Spike, Honda N-Box, Honda Vamos Hobio, Suzuki Every Landy, Suzuki Mighty Boy, Mitsubishi Town Box, and Daihatsu Naked.

I think cars like the N-Box look great. Plus you can get it with a special "California Diner" interior:

The Tennessee interior looks good to. I don't like the Hawaii one as much.

Vans are literally everywhere in Japan. I'd say they were probably the most common vehicle style I saw after all of the Toyota Crown taxis.

So bought a 2016 Fusion with 22k on the clock for my kid to drive. AWD, sunroof, leather, nav, turbo, heated seats..... wife told me not to get a car I was going to be jealous of him driving and proceeded to steer me towards a car I will be jealous of him driving.

I tend to do more then a fair amount of car waxing and detailing. The last several years I have tried many waxes. My two favorites had become Meguiars gold class carnauba plus spray and Griot's best of show spray wax. After talking to a professional detailer I decided to try his suggestion. He suggested I try Chemical Guys blazin banana carnauba spray. Here is where I got it. Supposedly some Walmarts also sell it.

I think I have found my new favorite. I tried it on clear coat and on regular car paint. Also works well on chrome. I have done four cars with it so far. First I have never used an easier to apply wax. It makes a very quick wax job. I have never seen a better shine with any wax product. Not sure how long it will protect, but for my needs it will be OK. It is not a cleaner wax, so the car must be pretty clean before waxing.

I always like Zaino products. Then I bought a car with no paint, so...

I can vouch for both Chemical Guys and Zaino, personally. That said, I’ve been using Turtle Wax Ice for years due to how easy it is to apply and how well it works for my car. I’ve heard that it works better for lighter colored cars.

I also like the Turtle wax ice product. It may even last longer then blazin. But IMO the blazin banana is a little better and easier to use. As a plus, it even has a banana smell!

put the summer tires on. First auto x of the season on Saturday. Looking forward to it.

I think they do some autocross in North Park fairly regularly.. Hoping to schedule next visit back to Pitt to coincide with hitting one with my younger brother

NHSCC does do ax at the pool parking lot. Only issue is they pretty much do not do it when SCCA is doing ax at PittRace, so they have dates early in the summer and late in the summer. That may also be because the pool parking lot is harder to get during peak summer, I dunno.

Realized I really didn't want to mess with the injector on Mrs K's CX7 so I took it to my buddy to do. After he switched the injector, before putting it back together, he thought to look in the head at the valves. Good thing he did. All the intake valves were covered in carbon pretty bad and the whole intake port of #1 was almost completely caked with carbon (the PCV dumps in right by #1). After a good valve and port cleaning, it's apparently ready, no codes and running strong. We pick it up tomorrow.

Got me thinking about the fact that the GS is also a GDI turbo engine, and imagining the carbon that is surely building up on those intake valves. I'll be picking up a can of CRC Intake Valve and Turbo Cleaner, and running it through a couple days before my next upcoming oil change. Also due for my 60K plug change, so I'll be trying some NGK Ruthenium HX plugs after the oil change.

When I replaced my brakes, I didn't use any grease on the back of the pads. Never have for Centric/StopTech stuff, and even confirmed with them that I don't have to start. A few weeks later, I can hear them squealing up front. Gotta find the time to pull the wheels off and grease these **** now.

I have a 2014 Accord with just 15,000 on it. I started getting a squealing at times. I greased the back of my front pads and it went away. I only use the car in winter and rain. Guess the pads were just in there too long.
