I've only owned a few cars that were turbos. A BMW 535xi which you couldn't tell had a turbo, let alone two. And my Dodge SRT-4 which was a **** hoot; the wet sneeze BOV was tops.

I've always wanted to buy my buddies SN95 Saleen Mustang. It needs some work and if I bought it I'd probably throw a big supercharger on it for the lulz.

I didn't have a huge turbo on my DSM, but god damn was that car a lot of fun to drive. 18psi was so much fun, especially hearing the turbo spool quickly.

My wife's expedition is a 3.5 twin turbo and unlike a decent portion of Murica that thing is BOOOOOSTED

Speaking of pigs, I noticed the new Jeep Wagoneer ad during one of the games yesterday actually listed the MSRP on the ad....which was $62K. I don't recall every seeing an MSRP that high on a TV ad for a car or truck. If it's there, it's in the fine print you can't see on the leasing terms that flash by at the end of the ad.

I can't really imagine what would go into making a Wagoneer that necessitates it MSRP'ing for that much.

I have now passed day 17 of my car being at the dealership. There is something causing the battery to drain completely dead every night. Local Subaru ran tests on it and couldn't isolate the problem so they escalated it. The team they escalated to said "pull a fuse each night. Once you wake up with a live battery, you should know where the problem is isolated." There are close to 50 fuses in that panel. If it ended up being one of the last fuses in the box, pulling one a night would take close to two months.
Pull half of the fuses overnight. If battery is alive, you know it's one of those. If dead, it's in the other half. Then pull half of the fuses for whatever group has the bad circuit. Rinse and repeat. That should narrow it down much more quickly.

Car is a 2020 Outback and is under warranty. I'm not paying for a thing.

I also found that there is a class action lawsuit against Subaru for a battery draining issue.
Subaru of America was hit with a class-action lawsuit concerning the Subaru Outback wagon and Ascent 3-Row SUV last year. The class-action lawsuit filed in April 2020 alleged 2016-2019 Subaru Outback and 2019-2020 Subaru Ascent SUVs have problems with the batteries draining prematurely. The alleged defect may also be present in the 2020 Outback, according to the filing. (Ed. note: oooh, that's me!)

A new report from Car Complaints says multiple lawsuits were filed, and they have been consolidated into a new class-action titled, In regard Subaru Battery Drain Products Liability Litigation.

Several Subaru models are having issues with battery problems. The 2016-2020 Subaru Outback and 2019-2020 Subaru Ascent have batteries that just can’t hold a charge. According to Car Complaints, the affected vehicles “don’t have enough capacity to power the electrical systems when the vehicles are turned off.”

This is a major issue because owners are forced to jump their vehicles off. It’s a frustrating problem that Subaru has yet to fix. It offered to replace the faulty batteries with new ones and did so. Many owners claim that the new batteries are just as faulty as the original, however, and didn’t fix the problem.
Lawsuits aren’t that uncommon in the auto industry, and Subaru is no stranger to facing off against its customers in court. This situation is no different.

There were originally several lawsuits, according to Car Complaints, but they have been consolidated into one that is called In re Subaru Battery Drain Products Liability Litigation.

Car Complaints stated, “The plaintiffs say Subaru owners must jump-start their drained batteries and continue to charge the batteries to keep the vehicles going. The lawsuit also alleges Subaru drivers can become stranded, forced to find alternative transportation, purchase battery jumper cables and pay for battery chargers.”

Naturally, Subaru isn’t going down without a fight. The Japanese automaker has filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. Its argument is that the lawsuit is too vague. Subaru lawyers are also arguing that the plaintiffs of the original, separate lawsuits voluntarily dismissed the claim when they decided to combine their lawsuits into one.

Unfortunately for Subaru, the judge didn’t agree. According to Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP (CSK&DS), the lawsuit has not been dismissed. Subaru will have to face its customers and argue its case before the court. Whether it is able to prove that there are no real battery issues remains to be seen, but it’s not looking good so far.

There was supposed to be a class action lawsuit against Acura for the battery drain issue related to the HandsFreeLink bluetooth module, but I haven't heard anything on it in years, so I assume it died. Sucks, because that cost me a few batteries, and a module unit itself.

Also looks like Honda is bringing back the Civic Type-R... and it looks to be turbocharged based on what I assume is a huge FMIC. Still a **** hatchback, though.

yeah, the rendering looks good, but unfortunately many times the end product is a bastardized version of it. I'm surprised by the front though, as that look is completely different from any other Honda out there. Usually they try to keep the fronts looking similar to each other. Also, those giant ass wheels can go away, no body wants tires that big on a vehicle like this.

As for the CTR, I'd guess maybe the Integra Type-S might be close to the CTR in sedan form. No ideas though since any Integra info has been little since that reveal with that awful yellow color.

Not a fan of the Integra body, either. Wish it looked less like a hatchback/wagon... not that I was planning on buying one.

Honda seems to be staying pretty true to the concept designs over the last few years - NSX, Type-S, etc., so I think there's a good chance that the HR-V is pretty similar. Likely with smaller wheels, yeah, but I'd bet on it having a 19" option for sure.

Their wheels - even on the lower trim levels - has been really good. So much better than the ol' plastic Tupperware lids that covered the lugs. I think our 2010 Civic had those, with the fake ABS lugnuts. So ugly.
