I was looking at the repro's on here: https://inspectionsticker.net/index.php ... x&cPath=38
My car was built in Dec '81 as an '82 model. Not sure it's worth grabbing any of the '82s and I wouldn't want to constantly tell people "No, it's actually an '82 but I liked the 81 sticker more."

Just noticed the '81 sticker I liked is actually a registration sticker. Oh well.

Thanks guys for looking that up. If anyone asks me about the number, I'll seem to know what I'm talking about for a change. BTW, the guy I bought it from sent some info about the sticker windshield placement in PA. It was on the lower passenger side through 1958. After that it went on the lower drivers side.

The green is fine. It's just if you scroll through the 70s they all have cool keystones or graphics, like the '77 which has what appears to be people fighting at the Constitutional Convention or something.
The '82 could be mistaken for an old hunting license or something.

offsides, do you ever take anything from your fleet up to Cars and Coffee in Wexford? All kinds of stuff shows up there. Some guy with a really clean Pantera shows up pretty often. Everything from hypercars to old muscle.

I've heard of it, but never been there. Most of my shows and cruises are south of Pittsburgh. Mostly around Washington, Greene and Fayette county. I am going to Bridgeville tomorrow for a cruise st the old K-Mart.offsides, do you ever take anything from your fleet up to Cars and Coffee in Wexford? All kinds of stuff shows up there. Ah, it's pretty chill. It's free, no registration or anything. You just show up on Saturday morning, come and go as you want. Sometimes they have themes but everything is always welcome. 9AM until 12PM on every-other Saturday through October at Generosta Coffee in Warrendale. Next one is May 18th, so every other Saturday from then.
I'll ping you next time I'm going, would love to see the '61.

Probably mustang weekend at carlisle...

I've only entered one formal car show and it was at PittRace Carfest last Labor Day. I won an award which was cool. My car is kind of in a weird place historically; muscle car groups don't care about it and import guys don't either. I basically have to find a British car show and then be parked on the edge of that.
I've been to the Mopar show in Carlisle but it was a long time ago, like, early 2000s.

Ha, I've actually been on that stretch of road many times. It's just like two miles or so from Disneyland.

This happened in my (old Czech) hometown!!

7-year old driver, (most likely) manual transmission car, 3 km (i.e. almost 2 miles) in the afternoon traffic (definitely not many wide streets in that town) - and just one car lightly hit!

The squeal from my front brakes is driving me insane. I went ahead and bought a set of Wagner ThermoQuiet's to see if they're any better. I figure a $21 gamble is worth it at this point.

How about a brand new car for $9,999.00. I can't believe they could sell any of these things.

The $21 gamble paid off. Brakes are dead silent again. The only issue was that the wear indicators on these are incredibly long, and hit the hub if I put them on the inside of the rotor. So, the pads with the indicators are on the outside of the rotors. The squeal from my front brakes is driving me insane. The CX-7 made it almost a month before the engine light came back on. Mrs K threw a P303 less than a mile from home. Did the ol switcheroo on the plugs and coils (not really expecting it to help - but you gotta try), to no avail. Not looking forward to the $700+ bill to change the 3 remaining injectors, I was ready to try some snake oil.
I ran up to the parts store to a steady stream of misses (CEL barely stopped flashing), grabbed a bottle of Techron concentrate, and added it to a half tank. Went through that half tank and am now halfway through a tank of straight gas. Was still missing pretty bad until yesterday morning. I had to stop for someone making a left. When I accelerated, it hesitated pretty bad and belched a cloud of black smoke. Ran much better since. Today was down to 2 separate quick flashes on the way to work and 1 single flash on the way home. I'll finish this tank and if it's still missing, run one more Techron spiked half tank...

I can't imagine that will be anything but a temporary fix, WK.

Yeah, I really didn't expect it to do anything at all - thus my reference to snake oil, but have been pleasantly surprised. Researching it, I've found several people who say it fixed an injector misfire thousands of miles ago, so fingers crossed.I can't imagine that will be anything but a temporary fix, WK.
No CEL this morning...
