The new Supra front end:

Perhaps it’s the angle, but I’m not a fan.

For the second time in as many years, I received a Facebook message from the new owner of my old DSM. I sold the car nearly two decades ago, so I have no idea how they keep finding me.

It's a sign...

I am curious to know how well it’s running, but this is just a little too creepy for me.

I'm in the market for a 3+ ton floor jack and came across this:

Harbor Freight bro.
My next stop. I always check Amazon first, though.

I like my floor jack a lot, but it's only a two-ton: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BMPFI6I/

I can vouch for the product line though, not sure if they make a 3 ton.

Sorry, that was supposed to be 2+ ton. For $107 shipped, I'm probably going to grab these two items:

https://www.harborfreight.com/3-ton-low ... 61282.html
https://www.harborfreight.com/3-ton-ste ... 61196.html

I only need to use them twice/year.

I bought jack stands at Big Lots in like 2002 and still use them, you'll be fine.

After my floor jack slipped last year and dropped the car on my tire (which I had just taken off), it has freaked me out. So, I'm going to just jack up each end and use floor jacks to keep the car in the air.

I use a QuickJack now, so it's kind of moot. But before that I used to put the wheels under the body just in case that happened. I dropped a Dodge Intrepid off of jack stands once, but I was jacking on a gravel driveway.

Since I live on a hillside I do most of my auto work at my dad’s house. I use his HF jack with cinderblocks & 2x4 blocks when I rotate the tires or brake work.

In this instance, I didn't even have time to do that. But even so, my tires are wide enough and my car is low enough that I'm not sure I'd be able to do that.

There's a harbor freight in Robinson if you're in a hurry. They usually have 20% off coupons too.

Nah, not in a hurry (or in the area). There's one nearby, but for $6.99 shipping, it's not worth a drive to the store.

So it looks like Clarkson, Hammond, and May are effectively packing it in. The 4th series of The Grand Tour (next month) will be the last studio-based content they produce, then they will make four long-form films a year for the next couple years.

17 years together. Helluva run, lads.

The price of wiper blades is too damn high.

Almost 30 bucks for a set for the wife's jeep

Put a new windshield on the van today. The tech said someone did a lame repair job with glue and it was about ready to fall out. Seems legit since I could hear air rushing in when driving and water would flow in when I would come to a stop in the rain.

Just dropped $80 for Bosch Icon blades for the Regal and CX-7. They really are a lot better than the cheaper blades.
