1700 pounds of downforce in a road-legal car, that's insane.

Yay me. I got stopped today along I-70 in the 45 MPH speed trap section. Cited for speeding (70 in 45)... my stinking registration expired January 31 (WTF, I hate the new no sticker thing)... and I get cited for a 4-year-old crack in my windshield. Guess the cop was having a bad day, as I've been pulled over twice before with the same crack and it was never an issue.
SO anyway, renewed my registration right as soon as I got to work. Obviously that was an oversight on my part. Scheduled an appointment to replace my windshield tomorrow. Planning to plead not guilty, provide receipts and photos, and ask for leniency, hopefully the magistrate is in a better mood than the state trooper that pulled me over.

If I were a betting man, he will toss one or both of the windshield and registration tickets if you have both of them fixed before the hearing. You're probably stuck with the speeding ticket; best case there is probably a reduction to 60 in a 45 or something like that but full freight there wouldn't be surprising.Yay me. Agreed about tennis court, but the Maserati convertible (and contents)? Niiice.

Can you explain Maserati's to me? I see more of them in Pittsburgh than anywhere else I've ever been. They have zero brand identity to me. They seem like a rung below Aston Martin, probably because I don't think Maserati has a sports car program at all.

I hold them in the same regard as Aston Martin, personally. The finish quality of everything is meticulous and pristine, right down to the stitching in the leather. It's just gorgeous inside and out. On top of that, they sound like your prototypical Italian sports car.

All I know is that they do 185.

I just think of them as top rung Pittsburgh and bottom rung Los Angeles. Maybe I'd like it more if the trident wasn't so garish.
Just my opinion though, my practical knowledge of them stops at the Maserati Biturbo.

If I could have any one car and had to use it as my daily driver for x years, I'd have a Maserati GT.

No you wouldn't. Sthap.

It's the drivers seat, RHD car. But you're not wrong.

I absolutely would. For a long time, it was an M3. But then exposure to the current style GT wooed me. The previous gen was kinda dopey, in a 'foreign Miata' kind of way. But everything about the current gen is on point imo.No you wouldn't. Sthap.

I've never given this much thought, but I think it would be an Audi model for me. I've always been a fan of Audi's.If I could have any one car and had to use it as my daily driver for x years, I'd have a Maserati GT.
