Honda tried resetting my window’s auto up/down function, only to not even be able to connect to it via their diagnostics tool. So now I have to call the shop and ask how the **** a non-Honda motor/regulator made its way into my car.

Replaced the rear wheel bearings in the Odyssey...it's like I'm driving a new car. I guess they were shot for a couple of years now before I recognized it. It was just a very gradual increase in noise and vibration, and only recently did I notice it.

had a new set of Continental ExtremeContact DWS06's installed
I'll be interested to hear how you like those tires after about a year. I absolutely hated my last set of ExtremeContact's, and would never buy them again.
7 months in, I'm loving them. I've had them rotated every oil change, and they are showing very little wear so far with around 9000 miles on them.
The Contis finally ran out of tread after 3 years (spring/summer/fall) of rough use. They wore very evenly with regular rotations, but I'm down to almost slicks in the back. I was happy enough with them that I have another set being installed today when they do my inspection.

I run Continental ExtremeContact DWS's as well and they've been great in everything from summer to deep snow, and about nine months on they still look brand new despite me using them for track days more than once. I highly recommend them as an all season tire.

I'm going to start competing with the car in a series that requires 200TW (or greater) tires so I won't be tracking with them anymore; the DW's are supposedly a pretty great summer tire but I'll probably go get something a little stickier.

I have those too and they are the best tires that I've ever had.

I'm the lone Conti tire hater. They were the worst tires I had ever owned, but I guess I could have just gotten a bad batch.

I was the biggest Pirelli fanboy for so long, but after having issues with them on three straight applications I've moved on. The only tires I've ever owned that cupped; and they did so in like the first 5,000 miles. Customer service was awful too across all the issues we ever had with them. Like most automotive Italian things, when it works it's fantastic but when it doesn't, look out.

That bouncing tire is like something out of a "GTA fails" video on YouTube.

I finally got around to taking a picture of my current old man cars. Really fun to drive them, just not very practical. Anyone who can guess all the years gets bonus points. Hint: they are parked from oldest to newest.

 It's almost as old as me, however I feel like I have way more miles than that and the OG paint feels like it has peeled :(

Neat seeing how similar the Mustang and corvette were in terms of dimensions and form and how they have diverged in their present form.

61, 63, 64, and WTF.
First one is right, pretty easy with the front plate. Next two are close. Healey is a 65 and Mustang is a 66. Cars from the 50's, 60's and 70's had character. I can usually tell at a glance the car type and era. Today's cars are all the same. At least I can't tell one from another without seeing the front or rear emblem of who made it.
Today's cars are far superior, just not as fun to drive. I think electrics are the future and will soon take over. No maintenance and very efficient and powerful. Kinda glad I will probably miss the electric revolution. Won't be long people will make fun of us for actually driving internal combustion driven vehicles.

I'd have been able to tell you the year of the Vette without the plates, to be honest. The 67 Sting Ray is the pinnacle for them, IMO, and the C7 has basically ruined the brand for me. It's just so god damn hideous.

What the **** kind of take is that? Wow.

Not that it matters, the mid-engine C8 is coming to ruin everything.

But damn dude.

I....what? I'm not even a car guy, but I thought the C7 was an awesome improvement from the milquetoast design 'vettes had for the last how many years.

Growing up I was a NASCAR kid, and was a Ford guy. I *hated* all things Chevy. But I was young and dumb enough not to realize that the Corvette was a Chevy and not its own brand. When I figured it out I felt betrayed and began to hate it with the fire of a thousand suns. Then I started going to the Corvette Museum every year to watch the 24 Hours of LeMans in 2015. I started to concede that the C7 was a pretty well engineered piece of kit. Then, while on a Florida vacation and unable to secure the Jaguar F-Type I tried to rent, decided to pick up at C7. It converted me the rest of the way, what a car. I'm thinking of picking up a used GS when the C8 comes and knocks the legs out of the C7 market.

I also looked really close at getting a C5Z06 for track use to replace that Mustang I had, but it couldn't do winter duty at all so I went a different direction.

Hey, if you like the way the C7 looks, more power to you. I think it looks like dog ****.

C1's are still the best looking Vettes. At least in this old guy's opinion. Also great fun to go through the gears and drive on 2 lane roads. Self driving cars are coming and are going to suck.
