Huh, I just unlocked that skin for my SCAR-H in Call of Duty Modern Warfare last night.

That's definitely not a Honda. Looks more like a Geo Metro to me.

All those Japanese cars look the same.

Yes, it's a Geo Metro.

Let's not pretend like the same can't be said for most of the american cars of the 60s and 70s.All those Japanese cars look the same.

My FIL still daily drives a Geo Prizm.

Of course they do. I was just trying to ruffle your feathers (hence the ).Let's not pretend like the same can't be said for most of the american cars of the 60s and 70s.All those Japanese cars look the same.

I can just glance at a 60s car and know if it is a Chevy, Ford, Pontiac and etc. I can not tell what current cars (SUVs) are unless I see the insignia, And at least 40% of them are the same two colors. Black was the best-selling car color last year, accounting for 22.25 percent of sales, followed closely by white at 19.34 percent of sales.Let's not pretend like the same can't be said for most of the american cars of the 60s and 70s.All those Japanese cars look the same.

EDIT: I also think about 80% of vehicles on the road today are what we used to call station wagons.

I'm still looking at trucks.
And I still can't bring myself to pay $40k ($600 a month plus) for a vehicle.

I have a not-insubstantial inheritance coming from my mother's estate. I have been thinking of maybe buying a Tesla with part of it. I could buy a sports car, but I only have a one-car garage, and something like a Model Y with the performance package would probably give me plenty of jollies while still serving as a good daily driver (whenever the heck I might actually start driving daily again). I might also consider something like a Golf R, which I believe WV is bringing back to the US when the next Golf generation goes on sale next year. I haven't decided. If I can't get my next car with a manual, I'm very much thinking of going electric.
The most expensive car I ever bought was my current Kia Forte5 for around $25,000 (a screaming deal, IMO), and for a while as a teenager I drove a car that my mother had purchased for five bucks, so I've never owned any sort of luxury car.
Part of me wants to throw caution to the wind and buy a Morgan Three-Wheeler. Those things just make me smile.

GoPro mounted in the intake of an Mk4 Supra. Pretty neat. The way his turbo sounds is pure porn.

Hey mac5155. Think I am heading to Fayettenam in the Vette for a car show tomorrow. Planning on going to South Union Volunteer Fire Company in Uniontown. Suppose to be a show there from 12 till 3.

Got a Ram 1500 earlier this month, now got ourselves a travel trailer. Woot woot. Weekend getaways and a fall break getaway is now in our future.

I recall someone on the board purchasing from copart? Can whoever this was chime in. Is it easy to do?

I browse copart but have never pulled the trigger.

It was @CBear3. With the Cooper.

I checked at my zipcode and it's mostly wrecked cars.

Tesla's Battery Day saw announcements of new battery cells that should give a 16% increase in range thanks to a 5x increase in energy with a drop in cost by 14%. The Model S is getting a new "Plaid" version with a range around 500 miles, a top speed of more than 200 mph, and a 0-to-60-mph time under 2 seconds. And Musk promised a $25,000 Tesla in three years, although he didn't show off any new model, and it's not clear to me whether he's referring to an all-new car or a lower-cost version of the Model 3.
