So it's for sure between an F150 and a RAM 1500. Leaning towards RAM, because F150's come with like nothing in them unless you spend $$$.

Ordered a mid-size car to drive out to West Chester tomorrow. Enterprise gave me a **** F-150 crew cab because it was the only car left on their lot. I would make a wanking motion but my dick shrunk down to microscopic size as soon as I put the key in the ignition.

Out of curiosity, why do you rent from Enterprise? I've rented from them in the past (a decade ago?), but they've always been considerably more expensive than anyone else in my experience.

It was Enterprise in Etna. The first time I have rented from any Enterprise since early 2017.

I don't have any particular brand loyalty when it comes to rental agencies. I rented from Budget a lot in Wisconsin.

When I owned an 18 year old Audi and a 14 year old Cherokee I used to rent from Enterprise when I went on road trips. I went to Maine twice and got an almost perverse joy from putting 2,000+ miles on a single, unlimited mileage rental.

I can't recall the last time I didn't use Budget. Between them always having the best price, FastBreak is getting better and better. When we went to **** Kansas over Christmas, they had changed to a "pick any car in your zone" format for FastBreak, so I was in a car in about 20 seconds.

I always reserve the car really early and periodically check the prices. I've been able to apply coupons or jump on a good rate well after making the reservation by simply editing it. Hoping to do the same for Maui this year since it'll be a pricey 2-week rental in a full size car.

I used Avis this past weekend for a Thursday to Sunday full size rental, $107. Hard to beat it.

The challenge is space. Being 6'5 and my wife is pushing 6 feet, the car seat is just killer right now and I don't know if it'll be comfortable, we know the F-150 is, but blah.

When we test drove an F-150, I made sure to put the car seat in (I knew it'd be fine). Maybe you can do that with the Ram.

Just don't care for Chevy, honestly. Ram seems to be the one I keep going back to, in terms of cost, features, etc.

I've always wanted to go mid-size, in the Tacoma/Gladiator range, but being tall and kids basically knocked me out of it, and I don't want a fullsize SUV for the cost, when I can at least use a truck-bed and potentially haul my Jeep, finally.

Hasn't Ram surpassed Chevy in truck sales?

F-series, Ram, then Silverado. Doesn’t necessarily make any of them better than the next, though.

I do, but significantly less now. I drove to the beach one year with it, no air conditioning, stuff to the gills with vacation items, and now that the kid is in the picture, it's strictly a me driver, because I don't have a back-seat. I would absolutely haul it down there with a truck if it meant my wife and I getting free-time driving up the shoreline. There's nothing better, honestly.

Yea, sales don't matter to me imo. For me it's Ram, F-150, Tundra (but they're way too expensive for what they are).

In NC we had a place that specialized in auto upholstery. Is there anything like that in Pittsburgh? Most of the interior in that SRT4 looks brand new, but the fronts seats are badly ripped and torn, particularly the driver side.

Really, if I could just get the thigh bolsters on the seat bottom redone it would completely revive that seat. Bonus points if the foam could be improved at the same time. The seats are fine otherwise. Any ideas?

I know, but it was a big deal that Ram/Dodge sales exceeded Chevy truck sales for the first time in years and years.

Went to start my car this morning, and it wouldn't even attempt to turn over. Still have juice to power the lights, radio, etc. Gotta see if I can roll it out of the garage and jump it later.

The worst.

I bought one of these for my wife (and later me) a few years ago, and it's already paid off once.

Yeah, I thought about buying one of those, but held off. May just grab one now so that I don't have to keep my wife's truck hostage while she's at work.

Someone backed into my wife yesterday as she was leaving work int he parking garage. It's minimal damage, but it's still a PITA.
