$4800 for oil leaks? Yikes. I'm expecting my bill to be under $1500.

 I love my car too much to sell. So long as it's cheaper to maintain than buy new, I'll keep it forever.

The cassette player in my car crumbled apart and I found the radios used in he City Jetta model in Canada circa 2010's. Whoo hoo, I'll have cd capabilities and better yet an AUX plug and blue tooth.

Crutchfield has come through a couple times for me for similar items. Their installation guides are decent as well.

It does feel strange driving a 2003 Camry and having Bluetooth.

I'm having this installed in my van on Monday, with a back up camera:

It will easily be the nicest feature of my 2003 one ton Econoline.

I picked it because of the Android Auto integration and the fact that it has a physical volume knob. Much excitement.

They just released a promo video for The Grand Tour with James and Richard trying to think up a hashtag to promote Series 3. Hammond suggested "Amazon's Hit Car Show". Which in hashtag form can be read a couple different ways. ;)

Side note, realtor in the area has her website plastered all over her car:

My wife managed to hit a median so hard that she bent the rims on both the front and rear drivers side of her car that has less than 3k miles on it.

I'm waiting to get my windshield replaced due to a rock smashing it.

Fun times.

Terry's Auto Glass are good folks, just had my van windshield replaced there. It's on Rt.30 near the 66 interchange.

I just went through Safelite through our insurance. 100$ and done. We'll still waiting cause all their techs called off due to snow, but almost done.

Can't wait to see what damage she did to her car though.

I’m close to having Safelite replace my windshield. I want them to come out once more to repair a chip in my immediate viewing area before I just give up and replace the whole thing.

My first oil leak is the crankshaft seal. So, they basically have to do another timing belt change (which was done less than two months ago). The second leak is either the oil filter housing or one of the plugs. I'm assuming it's the housing, since that's what my luck has been like lately, but we'll see. Won't get my car back until Thursday because I won't let them use non-Honda parts, and I have no intention of even looking at the bill when I get it.
The issue ended up actually being the power steering pump. One would think I'd have dodged a bullet because I wouldn't have to essentially do a timing belt change (again), but a Honda PS pump is over $400. So, both oil leaks ran me $850 because I refuse to put non-Honda parts in my car. Oh well. At the very least, my CEL cleared itself again, so my theory on the gas may be accurate after all. I'm going to just keep filling up at Sunoco and hope for the best.

I assumed you had checked that your leaks were actually oil. Could have saved yourself a little worry there...

Also, a used OE pump would have cost less than $100.

Last time I looked into it, they also offered OEM glass, albeit at a much higher price point. I was going to compare their prices to a traditional shop.
