My dad had an old coworker friend who was a Ford nut. He had a MK VII and a Thunderbird he would rotate between.

McLaren Speedtail

3 seat layout just like the F1.

Screens and the button placement on top like an airplane, really frees up the center area and gives a cool feel.

Strictly academic for me. Can't wait to see it in McLaren orange. Or anything other than that blue, really.

I guess I don't see the point of it. And it's ugly as **** regardless of the color.

The Jag has the better roofline but is probably harder to see out of.

I have a 2007 Honda Civic with over 150k on it. It runs great but I now only have one working speaker, the back left. It is pretty annoying since I listen to a lot of music, but I read something about water getting into the doors and causing that. Wondering if it's worth taking the door panel off.

It takes 30 seconds to remove the panel and find out.

I've been hunting for a particular vehicle for a while and found a really nice example that popped up in Houston, Tx. I happen to have an old friend who is an automobile journalist that lives in Houston and is coincidentally flying back into town today after a long trip. He's going to swing by and kick tires on it for me before I call and put down a deposit. I'll fly out there next weekend and drive it back.

Man it's awesome when a plan comes together.

My buddy just had his Tesla charger installed in his garage; he’s scheduled to take delivery on his model 3 next week. I am jealous.

It's an anomaly. I have an unusually high churn rate right now for vehicles. Highest I've ever had, honestly. We were talking about something similar on another forum and it turns out I've owned eight different vehicles in less than two years:

E36 -> MINI
E60 -> E63 -> E46
Mustang -> Delorean
R1200CLC

Nine after next weekend if all goes well. I plan to purchase a buddy's Saleen Mustang in May. After that my fleet should be set for a long while. The wife wants to buy a Cayman when she graduates, but also wants to keep the MINI but that won't be for another three years.

By summer I should have the five regular vehicles and the motorcycle.

I'd like to sell the motorcycle but the wife likes it.

You're going to have a bunch of cars to sell when you make your pilgrimage to Europe.

Yeah. I mean, we're building a 4+ car garage in Latrobe so they can be stowed pretty easily. The Delorean and Saleen would be mothballed, the E46 will be in full race trim by then, so mothballed. The others can probably be liquidated.

We visited my brother this past spring and were hoping to ride in his model 3. He had it in the shop after a coworker backed into him in the parking lot :face:

I have an STI that I put an AWE catback exhaust on this weekend. Sounds great.

Also got snow tires mounted on the winter wheels. Bring it mother nature.

That's pretty early for snows. I usually wait until after Thanksgiving.

I try and wait until as close to Thanksgiving as possible, but may wind up throwing mine on in two weeks.

I just had to do control arm bushings on my 03 Accord. Considering it has 336,760 miles on it, they lived a good life. Also needed a ball joint too.
