If I could have any one car and had to use it as my daily driver for x years, I'd have a Maserati GT.
I've never given this much thought, but I think it would be an Audi model for me. I've always been a fan of Audi's.
I wouldn't turn down a Maserati GT, but I'd prefer a Bentley Continental GT.

Sitrep: Mrs Tif's new car is actually an S90. I have serious questions as to whether or not it will fit our driveway.

Yeah, we watched the MotorWeek segment on the car last weekend and were pleased. I'm not really a fan of big luxury sedans, but we'll see; I do like the "Thor's Hammer" headlights, tho. Nice touch.

So the 2018 M5 doesn't offer a manual transmission...

Doesn't a Range Rover Coupe defeat the entire purpose of a Range Rover outside of the status symbol?

As a former Range Rover driver-spouse, I can pretty much assure you the main reason for said conveyance is 'look at me'. We called it the 'fancy butt' car. *shrug*

I’m pleased that Jackie Stewart is still around.

I can't wait for the multiple-LED headlight and massively oversized manufacturer's emblem trend goes away, because it's getting out of hand.

I'm overdue, but it's time to replace the timing belt, water pump, etc. in my car. It's one of the few things I've never done in a car, so I'm going to just have my local shop do it. Painful, especially because I want all OEM Honda parts (Gates parts would save me $200), but still $400 cheaper than the dealership.

Even though my car only has 62kish miles, it's 11 years old. The recommendation from Honda is 10 years on the belt, and at this rate, the alternative is not fun: valves making sweet love with the pistons.

I'm guessing it's probably an interference engine. If the timing belt does break, the valves and pistons meet - usually with catastrophic results.

I kind of dig the Benz illuminated logo. Nothing says look at how pretentious I am by having an illuminated car logo.

Never saw that before. Looks a little goofy to me, but to each their own.

It's ridiculous. I get people buy a car because of the specific brand, but I'd very much prefer understated than in your face.

Funny, I was looking at a brand new Acura TLX the other day and noticed that it had black emblems (it was a black car). I checked out Acura's site, and sure enough you can get black emblems for your car to make it almost blend in. I actually thought it looked pretty sharp.
