They’re almost done renovations inside the store, which look great. They’ve invested a good deal of money overall, and now sell stuff like dry aged meats. Pretty neat to see for a standard grocery store.

Should have put it at the end of the lot, not by the front door. It will be constantly occupied by brodozers and minivans and given it is a prime spot and that is okay.

Dunno, I don’t see a lot of dirtbag parkers in this area. If this were Walmart, it might be a different story.

Normal people won't mind parking there.
Dirtbags will unplug a car that is already parked there. ;)

Found out today that there's a GPS/calendar bug in Honda/Acura affecting cars as old as 2004 models, where as of 12/31/21, the date and time will not be correct. Current status from Honda? It will be resolved by August 2022.

Out of curiosity, I priced out a Type-S, financed over 5 years @ 1.99%. $966/month. Absolutely insane for that car.

Does anyone else happen to use PSECU for auto loans?

They've updated their mobile site in the last few months and I cannot for the life of me successfully make a loan payment from an external account. It freezes, bugs out, logs out, etc. And their mobile app doesn't allow external transfers. It's very frustrating.

Of all the things on that car that make my chuckle the most it's the VW exposed hinge on the exterior of the door, contrasted against those sweet sweet Porsche body lines.

2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer First Drive Review | A (very) big return

https://finance.yahoo.com/2022-jeep-gra ... 00592.html
The 2022 Grand Wagoneer is powered by the Stellantis 6.4-liter V8, here with new intake and exhaust manifolds and a specific exhaust system. It puts out 471 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque.
The 6.4-liter 4WD Grand Wagoneer is a thirsty beast at 13/18 mpg.
The Grand Wagoneer comes in Series I, Series II, Obsidian (dark exterior trim), and Series III grades, and here starting figures range from $88,995 to $105,995.
Happened to take a look at the Wagoneer website today- jesus the stripped down version starts just under $70k. Somebody around here has one, it is a nice looking vehicle.

Someone else here has one of the Bentley Bentayga SUVs. $170k (my house appraised for $165k BTW), I'm just like- first of all why a Bentley SUV and second, if you got that kind of scratch wouldn't you live someplace that's not Beaver County?

I put in an order for a hybrid Ford Maverick back in July. I get we are in a global pandemic and there are supply chain shortages, but I have not heard a word about it. Called Ford and they told me my order was waiting to be picked. Not like I desperately need the truck but I am starting to lose my patience.

Did you get a set price? I've heard new cars are seeing big markups after getting to the dealer. $10K dealer markups on new Broncos.

Yes, I did. I did see on Reddit that dealers are trying that same shady crap. People have been complaining to Ford corporate and it seems like they have been successful with getting the markups knocked off.

Yeah, that's a growing problem. You put down a deposit and sign a purchase order. The truck comes in months later and the dealer tells you there is a market adjustment. You tell them you have a purchase order. They say that it's not a valid purchase order without a VIN (you can't have a VIN for a truck that didn't exist when the deposit was made). Legally you're on firm ground but how much do you want to pay to prove it? I'm $350/hr for that kind of matter and there is no fee-shifting component with contract disputes. It's possible I can frame it as an Unfair Trade Practice but you'd have to really threaten litigation for that to be effective.

I find that pic unpalletable. :pop:

Does anyone have any experience with Geico car insurance? We use USAA, but after adding the third car/teenage driver, our rates more than doubled. Similar coverage at Geico is $500+ cheaper per year, so we called USAA to see if we could tweak our coverage to lower it and they weren't able to do anything. Essentially, they told us to call Geico and confirm that their online price is actually accurate then call USAA back to start cancellation procedures. They don't do any sort of price matching.
