I can't see how anything wins out over fresh cut fries.

Shake Shack blows...fries are decent, everything else wishes it was Dairy Queen or Sonic caliber...
You think Dairy Queen's shakes are better than Shake Shack? Take that opinion to the bad takes thread.

Oh, I don't know, I don't really drink milkshakes...I was talking about food in the food thread.

Yeah, there's a place near me that does that, I haven't had a chance to try it yet...I'm also hesitant on most dairy things...

I don't think there's been a time I've had Sonic and not had the shts later. And my stomach is pretty strong.

Sonic food was so bad. I only ate the actual food once. Every other time I would just get limeades.

Their food is average, but their dessert items are pretty good.

For non-alcoholic milkshakes, the Milkshake Factory has the best. Kind of pricey, but very good.

In nice weather it's an automatic place to take out of towners when just walking around the city.

I'm coming home on Friday, but doubt we'll be in the area. I was hoping they'd have a location closer to Irwin.

Maybe soon. They're undergoing a rapid expansion.

I like Five Guys fries, but sometimes I wish they were cooked a touch more. I think how many fries they dump in is sometimes a detriment to their cooking.

Also, I seem to get a wildly varying amount of fries depending on who is working that station. At times the whole bag is full from a small, other times, the cup is barely overflowing.
I have also learned that eating in vs take away results in a massively different chomping experience much moreso with Five Guys than any other fast or fast-casual burger place I've been to. All but one time I've done take away has been a let down, while all the eat in visits have been good. The extra time spent in the bag seems to adversely affect the product (especially the fries) in a way that other joints escape.

Pro tip: Keep the bag open so that the steam doesn't make the fries soggy during your drive home.

They even have a stand in PPG Paints Arena. The line is always crazy long.

What, you think I'm like five years old? I am not an uncultured imbecile, thankyouverymuch.

Wendy's is the only other fast food place I can think of that does foil wrappers for their burgs, but I don't experience the same adverse effect on the drive home. I can only surmise it is related to how the fries are cooked.

January 2018 we game to Pittsburgh for 2 games on MLK weekend. Saturday night we went skating at PPG Place. it was something like 3 degrees F that weekend. we left PPG Place and we're desperately trying to find the Starbucks on our way back to the hotel a few blocks away. we take a "wrong" turn and run right into the Milkshake Factory. I didn't care how cold it was outside, that was a damn good milkshake! :fist:

Carl's Jr. will become the first major fast-food chain to debut a cannabis-infused burger
The Rocky Mountain High: CheeseBurger Delight will be topped with CBD-infused Santa Fe Sauce, and will be sold at a lone location in Denver, Colorado for a single day.
