You think Dairy Queen's shakes are better than Shake Shack? Take that opinion to the bad takes thread.Shake Shack blows...fries are decent, everything else wishes it was Dairy Queen or Sonic caliber...
For non-alcoholic milkshakes, the Milkshake Factory has the best. Kind of pricey, but very good.mikey might like Burgatory shakes, they put booze in them...
I have also learned that eating in vs take away results in a massively different chomping experience much moreso with Five Guys than any other fast or fast-casual burger place I've been to. All but one time I've done take away has been a let down, while all the eat in visits have been good. The extra time spent in the bag seems to adversely affect the product (especially the fries) in a way that other joints escape.I like Five Guys fries, but sometimes I wish they were cooked a touch more. I think how many fries they dump in is sometimes a detriment to their cooking.
Also, I seem to get a wildly varying amount of fries depending on who is working that station. At times the whole bag is full from a small, other times, the cup is barely overflowing.
Pro tip: Keep the bag open so that the steam doesn't make the fries soggy during your drive home.Source of the post The extra time spent in the bag seems to adversely affect the product (especially the fries) in a way that other joints escape.

They even have a stand in PPG Paints Arena. The line is always crazy long.Maybe soon. They're undergoing a rapid expansion.
What, you think I'm like five years old? I am not an uncultured imbecile, thankyouverymuch.Pro tip: Keep the bag open so that the steam doesn't make the fries soggy during your drive home.Source of the post The extra time spent in the bag seems to adversely affect the product (especially the fries) in a way that other joints escape.
January 2018 we game to Pittsburgh for 2 games on MLK weekend. Saturday night we went skating at PPG Place. it was something like 3 degrees F that weekend. we left PPG Place and we're desperately trying to find the Starbucks on our way back to the hotel a few blocks away. we take a "wrong" turn and run right into the Milkshake Factory. I didn't care how cold it was outside, that was a damn good milkshake!*looks up the Milkshake Factory menu*
mother of god, how have I never heard of this place before?
