Having worked at both Wendy's and Arby's, I still eat at both. Fryer oil was replaced at both weekly. I still have a burn scar on my hand from an incident with replacing fryer oil at Arby's.
Someone mentioned Wendy's chili the other day- don't eat that. Burgers too well done to eat go in a bin and are used in chili. It does stay in a cooler or freezer but who knows how long.
Side note I once set the chili stove on fire. I got it out before there was any damage but.... scary.

There is a wendy's training video on YouTube that shows them taking the spare hamburger bits and putting them in the chili.

I remember their chili being really good when I was younger. Haven’t tried it in probably 15-20 years, though.

I read somewhere that they boil the meat before making the chili. There is a wendy's training video on YouTube that shows them taking the spare hamburger bits and putting them in the chili.

Ronnie, don’t you dare try and scare me away from the Baconator.

I love the chili but only have it once a year or more. I'm not scared off. In the hoagie shop I worked in they saved the unsold hot sausage links at the end of the day and eventually ground them up for sausage pizza topping.

Not in the slightest. And I already knew how the chili is made. Personally, I think it's a great idea to reduce food waste.

I agree - no issues with the boiling of the meat if it means not wasting it.

No way, they actually use the good bacon, too. Frying the bacon was the best. They track the burger inventory, but you can eat as much bacon as you want.Ronnie, don’t you dare try and scare me away from the Baconator.

In my first three years working at DQ, I literally gained 60 pounds. Luckily I lost all of it once I went to college, but my store never tracked inventory. I ate way too many experimental blizzards.Wendy's sounds like heaven. No way, they actually use the good bacon, too. Frying the bacon was the best. The boss was an dadhole but he was a wealthy Greek immigrant relying on a bunch of High School kids to not blow his fortune. I’d probably be an dadhole too.Wendy's sounds like heaven. No way, they actually use the good bacon, too. Frying the bacon was the best. Besides that and smelling like rancid grease constantly, it wasn’t a bad gig for some $ to buy records.

When I add a gift card to my chick Fila app why can't I pay the remainder with a credit card?
I always get screwed into adding $10 to my app.
E.g. I spend $25.09 today and loaded 2 $10 gift cards. I had to then load $10 more from credit card instead of just paying 5.09. What gives CFA

Because is you are carrying a balance of gift cards you’re way more likely to show up again. And if you were going to show up again anyways, what does it matter?

I actually have not gone to CFA but maybe 4 times since the pandemic. It makes me sad. But there isn't one close to home, only work.
