If growing up means I can't eat donuts anymore then I never wanna grow up
Fast Food Thread
I think a lot of us once thought, in our tender years, that growing up meant that we would be eating nothing but donuts (and cake, pie, candy, and everything else our parents wouldn't let us eat). And now here we are voluntarily buying s**t like spinach and broccoli and healthy cereal and all the other stuff they used to have to make us eat.
Damn parents.
Damn parents.

Weis and Giant have surprisingly good donuts here in Centre County. Far superior to Dunkin’.

some clearly are not though. the DD closest to my house has pretty mediocre donuts that are oftentimes a bit on the stale side and very sloppily decorated. the DD closest to my office has donuts that are always fresh and look like something you'd use in an advertisement.I think most DDs are made offsite in a commissary these days. The little drive thru huts for sure.

Had to buy a new car battery today, so I grabbed dinner on the way out. Costco pizza is the greatest value in the entire country, and their pepperoni to cheese ratio is absolute perfection.

They say that a puppers becomes a doggo the first time it catches its own tail. The first time a hooman becomes a grown up is when they buy a birthday cake on some random Thursday to eat at home alone.I think a lot of us once thought, in our tender years, that growing up meant that we would be eating nothing but donuts (and cake, pie, candy, and everything else our parents wouldn't let us eat). Love Costco pizza

Costco pizza is to pizza as Taco Bell tacos are to tacos. Yeah, sure, it meets the broadest of textual definitions, but who are we trying to kid here.
Eh, you like what you like.

"greatest value" was the description. Price to quality is good.

Are Costco's pizzas take and bake? Or are they hot and ready? We're kind of new to the whole Costco membership thing.

Hot and ready. They constantly make pies so you can grab a slice at any time, but only take 10-15 minutes to cook a whole pie for you for takeout. Welcome to the great world of Costco. Are Costco's pizzas take and bake? Or are they hot and ready? We're kind of new to the whole Costco membership thing.

Nice. I think I might avail myself of the hot dog combo this weekend.

Yesterday was my first trip to Costco where I only bought two things - a car battery and a pepperoni pizza.
BTW, they sell Kirkland's frozen pizza, which is better than the other brands of frozen pizza that I have tried.

I've never been in a costco. Do you have to buy in bulk?

Most of what they offer is bulk, but not always 'too much' for 1-2 people. Lots of things come in twin packs, like vitamins, juice, etc.I've never been in a costco. Do you have to buy in bulk?

Actually, we went to visit my parents and my sister's family over the weekend. My brother in law brought some chocolate cake from Costco that was incredible. Keep in mind they owned a bakery, and my BIL was their baker...so for them to bring Costco cake is notable

I bought one for the start of the playoffs last year, as my excuse.

When I'm eating taco bell, I'm well aware that I'm not eating authentic mexican food and I'm okay with it. I'd imagine the same is true for costco pizza... it is what it is. No need for snobbery when it comes to that kind of food.
