Sweet... just found out they're opening a Piada right by me. Had no clue what it was

Piada makes delicious and wonderful food and is a wonderful company with wonderful employees.
Also, if Piada ever needs legal services in western PA again, they should totally hire the law firm that represented them the last time.

Pro tip: similar to chipotle, order online and pick it up. Bonus points for looking down on all the idiots standing in line as you pass by them.Sweet... just found out they're opening a Piada right by me. Had no clue what it was

Former employer had a plant in Thailand and a co-worker’s wife was Thai and part owner in a Thai restaurant in Boston so we went up there when they were in town for authentic Thai. We went around all week talking smack about whether I could handle it or not. I held my own, proudly, probably due to the heat of the buffalo wings I eat.Chinese people will tell you, there's Chinese and then there's American Chinese. American Chinese is stuff like Sweet and Sour Chicken. Authentic Chinese is more like Hot and Numbing stir-fried meat of choice. one place near by actually does this with Bullfrog. The only true, authentic Chinese I've had was at a Szechuan restaurant in Irvine, CA. I'm sure there are others, but your run of the mill Chinese takeout is hardly anything I've experienced in China.

I was craving a Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich today, so I stopped by for lunch. As I was munchin on my fries, I thought, "man... these are way better than normal. Nice and crispy, not the limp, soggy stuff I'm used to from them. Wonder what's different?"
Well, they changed their fries:

Gotta say, they're way better than the last version. Which isn't hard, cause they were bad.

Our Wendy's continues to be a shitshow. Dining room is rarely open, drive-thru can be backed up onto the feeder road, and angry employees. I posted a video of the manager yelling at people and shutting the store down; it hasn't gotten any better. I had a window cashier say "I hate this **** place. I'm working sick, and that dadhole calls off" to another employee while the window was open. She sounded horribly sick, too. Ugh.

Yeah... ours has had the dining room closed for a while now. Luckily it's never all that busy at the drivethrough. I think I waited behind 2 cars to order at peak lunch time.

They always had good taste. The texture blew. Now they got both.

My Wendy's is so good right now. Got a manager running the window. She's so friendly and alert. She upgrades the experience tremendously. Even despite mistakes recently

had a craving for onion rings after my Occupational Therapy yesterday so pulled up to the drive thru at my local burger king. this was around 3:00PM. the car at the speaker was trying to back out. she told me and the other car that they were doing a "shift change" and not serving. she said she had been waiting for 20 minutes. I didn't want onion rings that bad.

Wendy’s has the best burgers, closely followed by McDonald’s fresh quarter pounders.

Agree on Wendy's, but I think it'd be a fight for second - at least on the east coast.Wendy’s has the best burgers, closely followed by McDonald’s fresh quarter pounders.

I quit eating fast food until I started to spend an overnight on the road in Marietta Ohio. Wendys is literally the best option out there. I’ve tried the local joints and they all suck.

My 15 year old "needed a snack" yesterday, so we stopped by the local Sonic (which is one of the busiest stores in the entire chain, and very well run). He got a drink and mozzarella sticks, but I noticed they had broccoli cheddar tots...so I got some. Pretty, pretty good. Like fried okra with cheese in them tbh.

The only time I have ever had Okra that I liked was at K&M BBQ in Kansas. It was perfectly fried and fantastic.Source of the post Like fried okra

There's a Cajun place in Hermosa that has a jar of okra pickles on each table as a snack. So good.

I don't think I could handle having them any way other than fried thanks to their slimy texture. There's a Cajun place in Hermosa that has a jar of okra pickles on each table as a snack. So good.

It's a vinegar-based brine. No (or very much greatly reduced) slime.
