They put a Dunkin in here a few weeks ago and apparently it is the best thing to happen in Chippewa Township. Ever
I don't understand why people flock to these things like there may not be a tomorrow. The one in my town is always slammed no matter what time of the day.
I don't get it either. I find their coffee to be extremely acidic. It has this nasty tang to it that is only partially helped by cream. There's a reason why when you ask for cream, they will put half a cup in there unless you tell them otherwise.

Also, F them for changing their name. And for being from Boston.

I don't drink coffee, but is that their appeal? I will say that I like their blueberry donuts when I have them a couple times a year

The company that owns Arby's, Jimmy Johns, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc is about to buy DD.

1. DD is terrible. Both Dunkin and @Dickie Dunn

2. Buying a franchise like that with the number of people working remote in the future seems bad.

Now this I don't disagree with. Their lattes aren't half bad, though.

Yeah, their coffee is definitely a lighter blend with little flavor or punch. Conversely, Starbucks tastes like the beans have been over-roasted.

Because they have been. When they scaled up real quick, they had a bean sourcing issue, so their fix was to burn it to make it all taste the same.

I'm not even sure if you're telling the truth, but it's still very believable... which is sad.

Dunkin Donuts doesn't make their donuts and muffins in house any longer. Thaw and bake/fry. Very sad.

Unless you go to a local bakery, ain't nobody making their donuts on site anymore.

When my son worked there a few years ago they would make them regionally and then deliver them to the store so I don't think they are frozen.

Krispy Kreme does, brother. You can even watch them being made. So good.

Yeah, in larger cities with multiple locations they do that. Not down here though.

KK is overrated. My local grocery store's donuts, muffins and bagels are superior to both DD and KK.
