Spent last week in Corpus Christi, home of Whataburger. There's a Whataburger on every other street corner in that town.Hoping the line at the Whataburger is less than a mile long today so I can grab some for lunch.
And I mean a full mile https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/tr ... hataburger
I didn't have one. They're good but not specifically go out of your way and reserve a meal slot to go have Whataburger good.

About an hour and a half, listened to a few podcasts while I waited. Marveled at human idiocy and conceit. And the Spicy Ketchup was as good as advertised.

There's also one being opened in State College.

That article is from May, but looks like they were still doing construction about a month ago.

OK maybe I might

Pittsburgh has popeyes. First one I remember is them taking over the wendys on 5th avenue in Oakland. Which I think is not a Popeyes anymoreI thought maybe you didn't have popeyes in Pgh. They weren't' there last I lived there.

Yes. But they are exceptionally good chicken fingers. Fresh never frozen, etc.Am I reading it right, basically just chicken fingers?Canes is the chicken finger place
The popeyes in Oakland (where Wendy's used to be) is indeed gonzo. There is a moe's and I think a chase bank or something equally stupid at that corner now.

The Popeyes in Robinson is where the Long John’s/A&W used to be on 60. Right next to Wendy’s. I haven’t been out there in a few weeks, so not sure if the line still gets wrapped around the building twice or if it’s died down some. It’s been open for probably 2 months, so it should be fairly broken in by now of people needing to try it.
