I can’t honestly say if I ever ate at a Checkers or Rallys or not. The www says that in 2018 they announced plans to open 2 dozen locations in the Pittsburgh area but to date the only one is on Frankstown Rd in Penn Hills.
If you asked me I’d have said there is one on the North Side somewhere around Ridge or Western Ave but apparently it’s been closed more than 20 years.

Duck Donuts are fantastic, at least the locations that are in the OBX.The hype is what killed me. Like, in a vacuum without the hype, they'd be decent donuts. It cheapened it for me a little bit when they started opening all over southeast PA and Delaware. And TBH, for all of the ridiculous toppings and whatnot they offer, when it comes to donuts, I would rather just take a simple cinnamon sugar donut or maybe a maple glaze.
We only get them twice a year, on the first morning of our vacation and second-to-last.

This guy gets it. When I heard they were expanding towards yinzerland I knew it would be disappointing. Kind of like a Primanti's with Philadelphia sports team **** stuck to the wall.Duck Donuts are fantastic, at least the locations that are in the OBX.
