Ate at the one at Penn state probably 2x a week with that deal. It was on the corner of Atherton and College. I think it's a high rise now.
That Arbys has been gone for at least a decade. Pretty sure a car drove into it at one point and they just shut it down and moved on. It is currently a high rise for student apartments now.
My ex father in law, and his father in law, owned that place. A drunken foreign student rammed into the business and had shitty insurance and it was not worth it to rebuild. He's didn't own the land so a real estate developer moved in.

My one meal at Qdoba got me so, so sick. The sickest from a restaurant I've ever been.

This was 20 years ago, just about. I still refer to the chain as Q'shita. Man, was I ill. :?

Went to Popeye's today and a 3 piece chicken with fries and a drink was almost $10.

That's up from $7.50 six months ago.

Better way to describe it is "Chipotle, but Italian"

Minimum wage here in PA is still $7.25/hour. If higher wages are given it's market forces dictating that.

I don’t think I’ve seen a single “Hiring” sign in the cranberry area that doesn’t start at at least $15/hr.

Hoping the line at the Whataburger is less than a mile long today so I can grab some for lunch.
And I mean a full mile https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/tr ... hataburger

My BIL lives in Lee's Summit and wants to do the same. Whataburger is not worth that kind of wait, IMO.

I'm headed to OKC this weekend, so I don't really need to; but there's a couple former Texans in the engineering department and it's a great group activity for the boss being out this whole week.

Jack Stack, but that's a bit too pinky up. I know you're a fan of The Filling Station which is our normal BBQ go to.
I did mail some Jack Stack to the west coast as a thank you this week though.
