Basically 100% I still get Wendy's but their sandwiches suck. I get the sausage egg and cheese burritos which are pretty great when made perfectly which is half the time.
i read this post, but i'm not sure how to process a LL post about food knowing that he doesn't like middleswarth chips

Fine I'll buy some more today and give them a fourth try. I mean I'm rooting for them to be good each time. They take up enough freaking shelf space

Sheetz has a really good flatbread breakfast sandwich, but it uses maple sausage. I don't understand maple sausage in any form, who wants that much of a sugary taste from cased meat?

Got the chicken sandwich at the new Popeyes in Robinson about a week ago. It was pretty good. Not worth the wait in the drive thru, so I won’t do that again. But I’d get it on a normal day. I’m not sure why everyone compares it to Chick-fil-A. It’s nothing like their sandwich. It’s more similar to KFC’s. Their breadings are practically the same. I’m actually not sure which one I prefer between Popeyes and KFC.

I will say though…I do not care for pickles, but Popeyes pickles were delicious.

I’ve been replacing the pickles on anything I get with the Famous Dave’s spicy pickles in my fridge. Instant upgrade guaranteed.

If you're systematically doctoring fast food at home you're already putting in way more effort than I ever will when it comes to fast food.

Maybe, but only because some places have awful pickles.

Pickles dominate sandwiches so I generally delete them. I do like a pickle spear on the side as is done by Firehouse.

Went to panda express in Monroeville today (after trip #2 to my wife's OB). Pulled up and the dining room was closed. Because makes sense. Close the drive thru at panda. Not the dine in lol. Anyway, we get to place our order, pretty sure the workers are all blazed up, high as a kite. Pull up fully expecting it to be terrible. Girl hands us our food and quickly shuts the window as she says have a nice day. My wife and I just looked at each other and laughed, and drove away after like 10 seconds.

The whole concept of chain Chinese restaurants (Panda Express, P.F. Chang, etc.) just Does Not Compute for me. I mean, it's not like there aren't a billion family-run restaurants serving the same food.

I've never heard of that dish (nor been to fast food Chinese). What's in it?

I usually get spicy beef from my "down the street Chinese place" and it's usually different every time I get it. It seems to be a husband/wife operation so the cook doesn't change so I guess it's what on hand today.

Just had the Popeyes chicken sammich for the first time. It's pretty darn good. Not sure I'd fight anyone over it but it's a major player for sure.

Primo was NOT primo when I tried it. Way too much ultra lean capicola instead the real stuff:

Bread was good but there must be a 100 hoagie shops around Pgh with better food.
