Any of you PITT folks ever get hoagies at Merante Sisters (corner of Bates and McKee)? I was last there in the early 90's but google says the sisters' daughters now run the place.

Judging by their website photos I have to agree. JJ is not bad for a chain.

I had a Sheetz I-Talian this evening and it was far better than the WAWA version but I did taste cotto salami near the end.

The Chipotle is Moon Twp has got to be the most ineffectient store around. They have an entirely separate counter for to go orders staffed with 4 people and they still manage to be 5-10 minutes behind whenever I order there.

Chipotle in general seems to have taken a major step down in the last 5 years or so. 5-10 minutes behind sounds delightful. I also don't think I've seen fajita veggies in at least 3 years.

The one in north fayette you mean? Or is there another?

When I went in there the line was always basically out the door, and there was never any room to sit down. Moe's blows it out of the water IMO

No, different one. Opened up on University Blvd about two years ago.

It was 15 minutes before I finally got out of there. If it hadn't been a Friday afternoon that I was phoning in, I'd have left and canceled the order.

I recall when they first got mobile orders, placing the mobile order from the back of the line and it was always completed well in advance of if I would have just waited in line lol

while in Denver last week, I tried the new Chick Fil A cauliflower sandwich since that's a test market for it. not sure I'd ever have a reason to eat it over the regular but it was pretty tasty. pricey at $7.63 for just the sandwich though.

I eat as much vegetarian food as I can without inconveniencing myself. For that price? Yeah, no thanks, gimme the chicken, thanks.

I was excited when I saw a chick-fil-a in the mall food court yesterday, and that thrill was matched by instant dissatisfaction when I realized it was Sunday.

And yes, I was in a mall, but to take my kids to Build-A-Bear. What a scam.
