I have a thought in my head that I'm not sure if it's a memory or if I'm making it up, but I'm not 100% sure HBO actually owns the Carlin shows. Something is making me think he financed and produced those specials himself, and HBO was just the distributor. Like I said, I might be completely making that up.

But while I am hazy on the provenance of Carlin's taped specials, I do know that Judd Apatow is producing a 2-part documentary about Carlin that's headed to HBO in a year or so.

It isn't. It's actually a really fantastic free movie app. Lots of good horror on there.

Just saw Tim Dillon at the Carnegie Library. Absolutely hilarious show. I think c2i was there because someone yelled Let's Go Brandon a couple times after he mentioned Biden.

Wow, I had no idea he would've been 100 - or he had been dead for 17 years.

has anyone here taken an improv class before? I signed up for one in January. All I can imagine it’ll be like is Whose Line

speaking of Whose Line, Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood have a touring improv show. I’m going to see them in Baltimore in my way up to NY for Xmas

My wife and I have been to their show before - it’s outstanding. You’re going to enjoy it.

Cool. I'm not familiar with anyone affiliated with that theater, but figured I'd check. As long as you go into it with an open mind, you should have a really fun time.

Munhall is Homestead/Waterfront area. Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall is a solid place to see a show.

He's never been there. He has no frame of reference. He's like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie.

I did think it was funny he was slighting a place he's never been but the destination is cultural enough to host the exact same show he's going to see.

I just thought the name was funny. "Munhall" sounds like a one horse town in the middle of rural NY

before I posted on here I looked it up and saw it was a suburb of Pittsburgh

We looked at moving there but I think @slappybrown got in my ass about it and we ended up in Allison Park.

Despite the slightly depressing title "Sama Doma" ("Alone at Home") - the Czech version of the daytime chat shows like "The View/Talk" has been apparently quite popular. Czech TV recently hired a graphic designer to revamp the show's logo. I kid you not, this is what came out of that (and must have been approved by network executives):
