Bill Burr has a new one hour special on Netflix and man oh man is it funny.
I thought it was a step down from his last one. Its pretty good though.
The crowd was dead. I guess when you go to the south and make fun of racists people don't laugh too much.

Yea. I enjoyed it (though it wasn't his best, which is fine because his best is near impossible to top), but that crowd sucked ass.

You have to give props to comedians like Burr and (I'm reluctant to say this) Bill Maher who take the same act into places like where Freddy lives. That can't be easy, because you know any given night someone might be in the crowd who bought a ticket just to kick the sht bucket.

Bill Burr was near me (it's a college town, so a bit different), but had two sold out shows.

Thing about Burr is that he can do the make fun of the rurals thing without being an arrogant jagoff about it, unlike most comics I hear.

I no longer find Whitney Cummings impossibly annoying.

This shouldn't even be a debate.

I'm a horrible person, because the two things I laughed hardest at were sympathy for Michael Collins and sad Lee Majors.

I watched it too. Was great as epected but the cold open didn't work for me.

Doug Stanhope is coming to Piitsburgh in June, going to make an effort to get there.

I hope Bill Burr does a live feed of himself watching the Super Bowl and hopefully takes a few more shots at the Eagles again.

Ricky Gervais's new stand-up on netflix is great. I'm enjoying this whole netflix/comedians thing. A lot of great stuff on there.

Yeah, it was. Had the wife and I laughing pretty good.

Mentioned it in the events thread but I'm going to see Bill Burr at the Benedum in two weeks. Maybe he will tell us where the hell F is for Family S3 is.

According to his podcast, it's coming together really nicely...

I'm more excited for Season 2 of Big Mouth...but F is for Family is one of the few series that I actually track...

We just watched this and thought it was exceptional. I like when he gets the high pitched incredulous voice.

Gervais was good. But if you liked him, watch the latest Mike Birbiglia's special (Thank god for jokes). Same main theme (every joke always offends someone), even one almost identical key joke (peanuts on the airplane). But Birbiglia is much more nuanced, deeper, smarter. Basically, the difference between chess (Birbliglia) vs. checkers (Gervais).
