Agree 100x. It was a wonderful bipartisan skewering of politicians, celebrities, etc.The way they use Jiminy Glick in the Martin(2x) show is actually pretty funny.

I was looking at it more from the ventriloquism aspect, but yeah.

I was hysterical when he was crawling off the stage towards the end.I was looking at it more from the ventriloquism aspect, but yeah.

Yeah, it was the best possible use of that character and it didn't go on too long.

what's wrong with Chevy in that movie?Three Amigos, despite Chevy Chase.

I just did a Google for 'Captain Ron daughter' and found her name was Meadow Sisto. Images....... Jenna Fischer in a corset. So I guess I still got what I was after.

Certainly had his moments, but as time has gone on I've greatly soured on him.

Just watched the Martin Short/Steve Martin thing, thought it was very funny, very enjoyable...

Seeing David Cross tonight. I've never seen any of his stand-up. He better be funny or...I guess I just won't enjoy myself much.
Comedy and Humor
Hopefully he doesn’t make any gay jokes.

I've watched more hours of standup than I care to admit...he's not very good. He's funnier as a character, and maybe part of it is that I can't un-see the character Tobias Funke...but I've seen a good bit of his standup and it's very predictable, even the curve balls that he tries to slip in, are pretty obvious comedy staples done by a lot of amateurs that just don't quite have "it"...he has like a 30% appeal maybe, which is better than a lot of people, but he falls well short of even early Dave Attell, who I see he takes a little bit from in terms of delivery and joke structure...

Some security dude yelled **** you I quit in the middle of his Trump rant. A preliminary Google search shows this wasn't a bit.

I'll assume that was the funniest part of the evening or...?
If you're a comedian using Trump as a crutch to do anything more than a pop reference (much less even trying to get 2 or 3 minutes out of it), it better be one hell of a unique take you're a total hack...

The bit was about how Trump isn't good material for comedians...

Oh good, maybe he's improving...how'd you like it...?

Meh. I wouldn't go out of my way to watch his stand up. The tickets were free so I'd probably be mad if I paid for them.

We're probably going to see Patton Oswalt and Trevor Noah later this year, now that comedy shows are becoming more common at Parx Casino. We saw Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood's improv show there a few months back, which was phenomenal.

Saw Trevor Noah earlier this year. Not overwhelmingly funny, but worth the price of admission.
