Worth remembering that the Constitution does not provide for the direct election of the President by the people, really at all.

By the way, if you are wondering what we have talked about in the past re: the "white people are the root of all evil" crap we hear everyday, look at the reaction to this election.

The level of undisguised hatred and resentment directed at white people by the Left is more open now than it has ever been before. They are turning this into a "whites vs everyone else" battle. It's unhealthy.

I'm pointing out the countless anti Trump people that are making this election entirely about race. Ignoring the fact that Trump performed better with the African American and Hispanic vote than anyone predicted. Instead, it's a constant barrage of "**** white people", or "**** white uneducated voters." The rhetoric is nasty. I know plenty of "uneducated" (non college) voters that are great people, that make more money than I do and can match wits with anyone. The word "uneducated" is used in the same scarlet letter context as "Juden". They are bottom feeders that shouldn't have a voice.

The condescension and elitism dripping from the pundits and celebrities of the world is terrible. You literally can't miss it right now, so I'm not sure how me pointing it out makes me the racial extremist. I'm actually proud of how much of the black vote (I heard 20 percent) defected.

Do you think it's a good or bad thing that the president of the United States refused to admit the result of a supreme Court ruling?

Absolutely was not the point I was making of course...

For the record, I do not care at all for Trump's personal infringement policy, to put it delicately, I have no interest in having my life monitored under the guise of terrorism...target the people you think are causing a problem, not me...well, until I give you cause at least...

RE: Moving to a popular vote

Does it really matter where the campaign events take place? In this age of technology, I don't think it really matters where a candidate physically campaigns.

I dont think they need to go to a popular vote...but the electoral college is pointless. Just dont touch voting districts and let each district decide where their vote goes. Pittsburgh is different from philadelphia is different from the rest of the state...why do all their votes go to one place?

I'm for eliminating the states altogether, which I know is not a popular idea with the states rights crowd.
