Clinton v. Trump - 2016 Election Thread

I received a bizarre voicemail today from a washington dc phone number. It says its a message from the year 2029 and hillary clinton starts world war three on purpose. I recorded it; here's the link.

yeah, you're out of your mind if you think I'm downloading that.

You could have just uploaded it to youtube

Am I missing something...? Abortion is already a thing, so is the idea that Trump would overturn Roe vs Wade?
Sure, Trump would appoint justices that would overturn it.
Just like Hilary will appoint ones that will take Shyster's guns.

More of a chance of this happening than overturning roe v. Wade.
If you're talking a 0.00000000001% chance vs. a 0.000000000001% chance, then sure, I can agree to that.

Term limits. You have X amount of time to get something accomplished and then it's right to the glue factory...
Term limits, like voter id, seems like a good idea on the surface but I want knowledgeable experienced people serving. It's up to the voters to replace them.
The idea of term limits is anti-democratic, as it assumes that the average voter is incapable of voting a politician out of office if he/she is not doing his job. So instead, let's throw out everyone, the good with the bad, and bring in inexperienced people who will need at least a couple of years to figure out their jobs. Incompetence would reign if this were to happen.

Let us see, congressional approval is at record lows and yet people keep voting these people in. Tell me again how the average voter is capable of voting correctly?

Yep, and all the real power and knowledge would be with the legislative aides.

And saying they aren't doing a good job now doesn't mean new members every 4 or 6 years would do better.

Add three Scalia's to the court and RvW would be overturned. Add three Ginsburg's and minimal gun laws would be preserved. No one outside of the a small group of loons wants to repeal the 2nd amendment. A large percentage of the population wants to make abortion illegal.

The majority of the justices who decided RvW were GOP appointed. The court had 43 years to overturn it and has not.

I'm not sure that's accurate. There is a sizable portion of the population that favors extremely strict gun control measures. There's also a sizable portion of the population that may not want to repeal it, but seriously "restrict" it.

An email leaked by WikiLeaks Tuesday appears to suggest that Hillary Clinton wants the Affordable Care Act to fail — presumably as a pretense for implementing single-payer, government-controlled health care.

In a chain between Clinton and her senior policy adviser Ann O’Leary titled “Memo on Cadillac Tax for HRC,” Clinton said she’s open to changing her position on the Cadillac Tax — but that the Republican plan to repeal it must pass.

I honestly figured that was the end game from the moment the bill was introduced. Implement a system that is so poorly designed it's destined to fail, ushering in a full single-payer system.

Excuse my ignorance on the subject, but how could voter id laws be a bad thing?
