The olympics are boring.

I just care about the weightlifting. Pretty sure Lu Xiaojun is gonna **** smash world records this year.

I think if most of these sports were available to watch year round, I'd be bored too, but the fact that I only get to see them every 4 years makes it less boring if that makes any sense.

The summer olympics seem so much less interesting than winter to me. I think thats mostly because winter olympic hockey is the only interesting international hockey tournament to me and summer soccer is just mediocre compared to world cup.
I'm a winter over summer guy as well.

Wow. Dutch woman just wiped the F out in cycling down a hill. Waiting for update, but it did not look good. Twisted body and not moving.

That looked terrible. The course, both for the men and women, was more difficult and dangerous than necessary. I hope she did't hit the curb with her head.

Man feel bad for Abbott. I would have veered into the others to knock them off so they didn't pass me. Lol

Most of them not due to crashes, though. Many riders abandoned once they were out of contention, some, like Tony Martin, only treated the race as practice ahead of the time trial.

I'm starting to get into women's rugby. It's so much more pleasant to watch than football without the commecial breaks ecery 5 minutes. Very few stoppages of play and penalties, too.

You can put it on the NBC app and see all the previous day's games in one continuous 90 min show. Pretty nice.

Man, Gabby Douglas missed out on all-around because each country can only send 2 gymnasts to the competition. Gabby Douglas finished 3rd overall in qualifying.

Reportedly in intensive care with spinal fractures and concussion. Hope it's not really that bad.

Brazil tied with Iraq in soccer today. They've scored no goals in two games, and are in danger of not getting out of a group with frickin' Denmark, Iraq, & South Africa.

Lol.

With how she landed, I'm just glad she didn't die on impact.

She missed by something like 1/2 a point. She had the 3rd best overall score out of the entire field. And yet she is out of the all - around.

The best should go. Even if that means other teams don't.
