It's a shame the preeminent player in the world, who's always been on tv for the last decade is...not so fun to watch (in the way you're implying)

How the heck is it in any way legal for these two guys from Senegal and Brazil to play for Qatar? If I was some insanely rich sheik I'd win at everything.

USA vs France women's soccer prelim ready to start. France has a player who is at least a foot taller than any other person on the pitch

Why don't they have a neutral lab test the athletes?

My wife is insistent on watching damn preliminary gymnastics.

Let me know when we get to the medal rounds. Bleh.

Having seen Joe Theismann's incident fifty million times I will decline to watch just based on the title. Ugh.

In the video, he falls, looks up at his leg which is clearly facing the wrong direction, and does a literal "facepalm". No screaming in agony, just a facepalm. It's the oddest (toughest?) reaction

Forrer of Switzerland is rather "gifted" for a beach volleyball player.

Yep, same. Handball was great, especially when I was with my soccer or basketball teammates and we wrecked the other team in gym class

Incredible fencing match. American was down 7-13 (first to 15 wins), and he came back to win 15-14 over an Italian to advance. Good stuff.
