Hmph, news to me. I've never seen one. I also don't receive change, so I guess I'm not the target audience. The concept of "collectible" money is kinda funny to me, but I don't know why...I guess they're just trying to keep the balloon in the air after the (assumed) popularity of the state quarters thing...?
Wasn't there talk about changing some of the other bills...? They were gonna put Steve Urkel on the dime or something...? I guess that may have also happened without me noticing...

Ah...the old "send the 2021 Super Bowl Champion Chincinnati Beggars t-shirts to Africa" move...good for them. Enjoy presidents that couldn't even beat out Ben Franklin and Al Hamilton on our stuff...loo-sah!And, per a coworker that was recently in Ecuador/the Galapagos (they use USD down there), apparently thats where the majority of the coins are.

He also mentioned the Ecuadorians have something against large bills. Like, anything over a $20 gets rejected at checkouts and depositing them means you need to have forms signed off and what not. I'd assume to crack down on cartel biz but seems like overkill.

$5 bills and $1 coins are the most common in Ecuador. He said even $10 bills they say no to. Counterfeiting is very bad down there with American money. I'm always blown away when he send me a picture of the fruit haul he brings home for $3 us dollars. Roughly 10lbs of mangos, 20lbs of oranges and **** load of bananas for $3.He also mentioned the Ecuadorians have something against large bills. I don't know how we got onto the subject, but I was telling my boys about that dove incident the other day and showed them the video. There were so many questions like "How does a bird blow up like that" - I just didn't know how to answer.

Yeah, Randy Johnson is kind of a renaissance man. His work is really impressive. He was an *official* photographer for the 2015 Rush tour.
