I'm an admin on a couple Facebook groups, and part of the 'screening' process when we get new member requests is to check out their profile. If someone's last public activity was updating their profile pic five years ago, we prolly won't accept your request to join, for example. Or if they're a member of 17 other groups, half of which focus on monetizing your social media, we prolly won't approve. But on mobile, when scrolling through a profile, I have been known to inadvertently 'like' a total stranger's photo. Unlike it immediately, but the notification remains. So that's fun.

i won't use that web site on my phone for this reason. i went on an unintentional Like spree and wasn't pleased. A little while later, there was a post from an old GF with a bunch of pics of her in a bikini. it was like disarming a warhead to GTFO without clicking anything.

Shaf, send your VP an email on Friday when you're on your couch and ask if shmengy's 'friend' is going to end up gaunt and sickly because of an eating disorder.

You guys ever see the page number and think of commonly used ports immediately? This one has a healthy Telnet over TCP vibe to it.

Many suggestions have been made about the origin of the dollar symbol $, one of the commonest being that it derives from the figure 8, representing the Spanish 'piece of eight'. However, it actually comes from a handwritten 'ps', an abbreviation for 'peso' in old Spanish-American books. The $ symbol first occurs in the 1770s, in manuscript documents of English-Americans who had business dealings with Spanish-Americans, and it starts to appear in print after 1800.

Jaromir Jagr was the LAST active player from the original (PC) NHL 94 by EA Sports. Jagr played alongside Lemieux and Kevin Stevens and had 90-point rating (Wayne Gretzky "only" 87).

There are around 2000 shipwrecks at the bottom of Lake Erie, most of any Great Lake.

There has not been a major shipwreck in the Great Lakes since the Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior in 1975.

Das iTeam – Die Jungs mit der Maus

"It was criticized for the quality of its translation and direction, and the poor performance of Stefan Puntigam as Gabriel (German version's name for Moss)."
