I'm assuming he just turned vegan. If he's been vegan the whole time, there's no possible way that you didn't know before now.

I think it was his old lady that got him into. She had a post about today being world vegan day and they've been vegan for some time but haven't talked about it like other vegans. She took all the wording out of the post. I could never give up cheese.

My friend married a girl from India...he went full vegan. Not just vegan, but he was a relatively normal guy before...we visited their house a few years back, and I saw a mosquito in their house. I went to kill it, and he said "No, let me get it"...he proceeded to carefully whisk it up, and let it be free back outside. When I questioned his move, he said "who are we to end a life?"

He also went to an Indian monastery (or whatever the equivalent was) and spent a week living in absolute silence. No speaking. So...yeah...women, amirite?

Hell if I see a spider in the corner of a room I leave it be. I'd prefer spiders to flying insects. They stay in the corner, they stay alive.

I generally try to shoo bugs away, but if there's a fly that keeps buzzing around a lamp or my tv and won't go after several swats, sorry but I gave you a chance.

On a somewhat related note, **** bats. They don't get that privilege.

The fruit bat is typically not found in North America, so I don't have to worry about making that decision.
