I was officially on the hate gender reveal bandwagon, then my wife insisted we have one. It just turned out to be an excuse to have people come over, eat food and drink beer. I don't know, I enjoyed it. I got super drunk that day. We also didn't expect gifts or anything, but that seems to be something people are asking for now?

Yea that's cool too. I guess I don't get why other people get so upset at other people's personal decisions like that, it doesn't impact the person that's upset, like at all.

I am fine with a gender reveal if it's a casual party that also just so happens to involve a gender reveal. Not comfortable with gifts or the guests being expected to do anything.

Yea we were pretty adamant to just show up, it was a good reason to have a party at our house and that was about it. I knew people that have had ones where they expect to people to bring diapers or whatever, and I agree with that completely.

A friend of mine from high school posts so many bullsh*t, clearly staged photos of her kids and claims they're all candid shots. She has a 6 year old and there was a picture of him asleep on the couch, and a laptop in front of him with the screen open to a math lecture on youtube. The caption was "Bless his little heart. He fell asleep while watching trigonometry videos on YouTube."

No... no he f*cking didn't. You put the laptop there after he fell asleep on the couch.

Dear God, I scrolled through my Facebook feed for the first time in over a month and saw someone saying how the FL mail bomber is all a Democratic ruse and someone else saying we need to abolish Halloween because we shouldn't have a day honoring Satan and his followers.

I don't want to live on this planet any more.
