People who post pictures of their kids at sporting events and then proceed to have a conversation about how awesome their family genes are. GTFO.

Please say a prayer for my hubby, I'm pretty sure he just broke his ankle. frown emoticon
Prayers? Really? For something that is usually a "I did something stupid and got hurt" injury, that often laughed off?

Leg, okay. An ankle? I think I'll save that prayer for the upcoming football season or something.

You can. You can also honor them for the other 364 days if you want to follow that logic. I mean, technically, yes, our military is the reason we have the ability to have this society. That said, if you pull this card on every holiday it diminishes the memorials that we should be observing.

seen today, beneath a picture of a bunch of players in a prayer circle:
This is a photo of the Saints and Cowboys praying after the game Sunday night. You will not see this on politically correct television. I have chosen to post this photo and would like it shared by those of you who stand for the rights of all people.
1) they show guys praying all the time. mainly when someone is injured.
2)...and you see it then because the game is still going on.
3)...meaning they don't show it in this case because the broadcast is over.
4) and finally, whose rights are being infringed upon in this premise?

The American Christian Martyr is easily one of the strangest groups I have seen. They area akin to soccer moms who have to settle for 2% instead of soy milk in their lattes.

I actually did see a prayer circle with members of both teams in it last week on TV, I can't remember which NFL game it was. It would've had to be either ThNF, SNF, or MNF because that's the only time the broadcast hangs around that long. It's not a big deal so it didn't leave an impression.

it's funny, with all of the money and intellectual capital behind facebook, that i can do something simple like scroll down my feed and see the same posts from the same people pop up multiple times. like...isn't getting the feed to work correctly a pretty big priority?

In the same vein, I'll get a post that stays at the top of my feed for a day or 2. It's never anything important (what on FB is though?) either. It will be something like, "forgot my keys again, fml"*

Buzzfeed link making the rounds where people tweeted their most awkward moments. It is actually pretty funny but was precipitated by a woman stating that her most awkward moment was when an airport cashier told her to "Have a safe flight" and she responded "You too." OMG I CAN NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!

Hey lady, I bet the cashier gets that response several times an hour. I think you're safe. Totally natural response to a situation where you expect the cashier to have said "Have a nice day" or something like that.

Not only have I done this many times, I've also responded "You too" when concession stand workers have told me to "Enjoy the game!" Hey dumbass, I can't, I'm here selling dolts like you stale soft pretzels.
