Wendys Giant JBC is on par with Five Guys. At like 1/3 the cost.

Oh my. Well in that case you're gonna bring some Kirwan Heights eateries into the mix as well. Shouf's is a Lebanese place by the Chartiers Valley Shopping Center. On the other side of Bridgeville is Cucina Bella, which is a fancy schmancy pizza place in a neighborhood off Lesnett Road, almost to Upper St. Clair. Mike and Tony's Gyros has a location in Great Southern Shopping Center. Other than that there's like a Sonic, GetGo, Chuck E. Cheese, and Texas Roadhouse in the GBMA. There's also a First Watch if you're looking for breakfast or lunch. Enjoy?

That and the DMV were their prime attractions for decades.

For something like 25 or 30 years, the only commercial business license in the city of East Palo Alto was for a McDonald's. Then Facebook built their HQ there.

So hope rings eternal.

In its place will be Lowkey Taco, which is scheduled to open in February.

Why do I have a feeling that Lowkey Taco is going to be some hipster wannabe gourmet taco joint that in reality makes half-assed tacos?

Has anyone been to the industry location in robinson? what an experience.......its a place trying to create the hipster experience (filament lightbulbs, "reclaimed" wood everywhere, drinks in mason jars, the whole nine yards) housed in an old don pablos within sight of a sam's club. they even import hipsters from town to work there. yet somehow it has survived like 3 or 4 years.
