Restaurant Recommendations

Coming into town in a couple weeks. We were just there a couple weekends ago and visited Butcher and the Rye. It's incredible. It was St. Patty's day weekend, so most of the places were packed with people in green shirts. We went to Proper Brick Oven and Taproom for a few drinks. They were pricey, but good. We were full from dinner, but we asked to look at the menu... it looked REALLY good. We're thinking about heading there for our upcoming weekend for dinner one night. Anyone been?

Gaucho in the strip makes fantastic Argentinian wood fire BBQ. Good for lunch

Yeah, we're going to the game on Friday, then Saturday is wide open other than a Wigle Whiskey tour in the afternoon. We're trying to decide if we should get a big brunch and then dinner or small breakfast, small lunch and then dinner. Maybe we can squeeze Gaucho in, as I've heard such good things.

Meat and Potatoes is good. If you want some good Thai, then Bangkok balcony is your place.

In Market Square, Wingharts for a burger; Il Pizzaiolo for some Eye-talian is good, too.

I like DeLuca's in the Strip District for breakfast. Pamela's is better for sweet stuff (pancakes & crepes), but I like DeLuca's for more breakfasty food (the omelettes/bacon/etc).

Agreed on the Bangkok Balcony (in Squirrel Hill), but Smiling Banana Leaf in Highland Park's also really good... and it's directly across from an interesting bakery called Food Glorious Food.

I'm surprised people recommend Bangkok balcony as the best Thai food. Smiling banana leaf is strong.

I think the food at butcher and rye is better than meat and potatoes. Pricier tho.

I ve been to two top flight Thai restaurants (New York and LA), which have ruined all others for me, so I just don't go.

I've wanted to go to cure for a long time... We won't have a car, so we'd have to take a cab. I'd rather just walk to some place downtown.

We have the largest population of Thais outside of Thailand. Jitlada and Lum Ka Naad are the best, imo. But the actual best Thai restaurant I've been to is Lotus Of Siam in Vegas.

Uber, cures worth it

But fair enough

In town The commoner recently opened at the hotel Monaco food is just ok but great place to have a drink in terms of environment

Our Wigle Whiskey tour is from 5-6. Any recommendations on places down in the strip to get a nice dinner? If not we're just going to walk back to down town and go to Proper.
