Went to M&P. Got the Chicken and Waffles. Was very whelmed. Bone-in chicken with waffles? Come on man... I'd have went a different route had I known that.

After ordering chicken and waffles any time I see it on the menu, I've come to the conclusion that white people **** suck at making chicken and waffles.

Mac, there is no other way to have chicken and waffles, because there is no other way to make fried chicken.

There's no way for me to eat bone in chicken without looking like an absolute savage. So I was hoping for breast tenderloins with my waffles...

This is the worst post in the history of this board.

And that includes everything Ned has done.

By the way, next time you want chicken & waffles, hit up Carmi’s.

 I figured that wouldn't go over well. Nah, I've never had it there. Think I've only been to Ihop once in my life.

@dodint check out North Country restaurant when you visit Slippery Rock with your wife. The food is fantastic and the beer used to be really good until the fired the head brewer. The beer is still good but the new head brewer sucks, Firehouse Red is a safe bet.
Will probably hit this tomorrow. Going up to get her student ID, books, etc. Thanks!

The Squidelicious is always good at North Country, if you like calamari. Second on the Pub Pretzels; those are good too. I also like their beer-battered fish, either in the fish sandwich or the fish & chips. They usually have some interesting weekly specials too.

Make sure you ask for the bread. They can sometimes be out of it. North Country's complementary bread is a loaf of beer bread baked in a small clay flowerpot, served with some honey butter. It's really good.

Had the pub pretzels w/beer cheese, did see the calamari but passed as it was lunch.

Missed the bread. :(

Had the open-faced brisket sandwich and potato cakes. Enjoyed it.

Best takeout pizza in the general vicinity of Rt. 8 between Etna and the turnpike; just not feeling Pizzarita this time. Go!
Just because I know 'Om is a shitsipper I'll reiterate that HURRRR DURRRR OLIVES AND DER PEPPERS is north of the turnpike and is excluded from consideration both geographically and on principle.

Not quite in range, but Frank's in Millvale has the best buffalo chicken pizza on earth.
