Any takes on Bahama Breeze? I've never been to one before, but I'm meeting my brother and some family there for his birthday.

Love eating at Morcilla. There are definitely a couple of tables that are pretty miserable, thinking mostly the back corner table nearest the kitchen. We've definitely asked to be moved every time they plump us there.

It's surprisingly good for a chain. I always get the lobster & shrimp quesadilla.

Good to hear! A number of things on the menu do look quite tasty.

Decided to pick up MOD Pizza for dinner last night...I gotta say, I was pretty impressed. I like the business model and the customization is nice. @NT@NTP66 I see they are in Warrington and Newtown, not sure if you've ever been.

I have, and I do like it for what it is - quick pizza. My wife, on the other hand, hates it. They also sell Mexican Coke there.

BRGR recently came to State College. Went for lunch today. Pretty decent burger. Little pricey to get a burger, fries, and a drink, but the quality of the burger and toppings was surprisingly good.

Oh wow. Moving to the old Six Penn location. They're desperately in need of a bigger location. On the Facebook post they said they're not changing to traditional table service, whatever that means. Not sure the other Penn Ave. restaurants would be thrilled with an hour long line clogging up the sidewalk, so they have to be doing something that'll get asses at tables instead of waiting in the cattle chute. Apparently will be expanding the menu and adding two bars as well.

I absolutely love Gaucho but always found the line wait and ordering process to be a complete pain in the ass. I'm in favor of anything that allows me to sit down and order delicious meats.

I believe that's what the plan is. More tables so you can sit down and order your food on a tablet, but you'll probably wait just as long for food.

In response to a Facebook comment they said they have plans for the rooftop bar, but it needs some work and their primary focus is to have the interior ready for a Spring open.

That was always my big turnoff from going there. Line would be out the door and around the corner, and since I didn't know if that meant 30 minutes or 90 minutes, I wasn't taking any chances.

Gaucho is money, but the line is insane. I basically only go there in off hours, like a late lunch around 2 pm or early dinner.

I have no problem waiting at a table for food. Standing in that line is super annoying. Especially when you're at that awkward point by the door where you don't know if you should hold it open or step all the way in or keep waiting outside. And then you have to let the people leaving squeeze past you. That line sucks.

Spent a seemingly 100 degree July afternoon in that exact awkward point for eternity (probably 30 minutes), only to stand in line for another hourish once we made it in the door. Was somehow still worth it.

Sidebar: Hitchhiker is putting a taproom on liberty near liberty and 6th, right by the mini police station. I like that police station because you can see the city's fine officers sitting at that little foldout table, reading their phones, and eating moes while simultaneously protecting and serving.
