I went a Huddle House in the mountains in NC recently. A little nicer than Waffle House if I had to make a distinction.

anywhere good to eat in canonsburg or little worshington
If ya like gyros, The Gyro Place. Assuming it's during the week, they are closed on the weekend.

The Union Grille was pretty good when we went about a year ago.

Same here, to a limited extent...I love waffle house but GF is not even willing to try it due to some misconceptions and hearsay about the grease level.
My wife was the same way. There is a Waffle House east of Lancaster, like 20 minutes from our house, and I finally dragged her there. Now, she loves it and wants to go back.

I'm glad my wife loves greasy home fries and breakfast meats.

Read that Six Penn is closing at the end of the month. Haven't been there in years.

Saw that too. Six Penn probably deserves a certain amount of credit for being ahead of the game in terms of developing downtown as a restaurant destination. It really wasn't that good and certainly got passed by many other places. Its a gr8 location though.

Really liked the pork shank at Six Penn but nothing else there particularly stood out.

My friend used to bar tend there. I don't think they had strong controls over the liquor supply.

Having lunch with the wife and a friend at Bakersfield this afternoon. The wife wanted Mexican and this looks close enough.

Big fan of Bakersfield. The food is closer to being authentic than the pretentious **** over at Tako. Best thing on the menu is the Torta Milanesa. The Loretta salad and Short Rib tostada are both good. All the tacos are good though my favorites are hongos, huitlacoche, al pastor, and the carnitas if it's available. We were there last week and they were running Tombstone on a continuous loop. I hope you're as lucky.

The menu looks so small, but the stuff that's on it looks good. I think I recall seeing a short rib torta on there that piqued my interest.

I had to kill an hour before my wife's improv show last week at the theater below Highland and went to Patron. It was kind of ****, but also perfect in a way.

My girlfriend has been wanting to go to Tako forever, so for Valentine's Day, I decided to wait until the week prior to get reservations. Earliest I could get in our preferred dinner time was Sunday the 18th. That's still romantic, right?

Valentine's Day is the worst.
We've had terrible luck in restaurants on Valentine's Day. Last year we were both completely unimpressed with Mallorca. Year before that was some overpriced Italian place in Bloomfield. Next year we're going to Pamela's.

My wife's birthday is the 10th so we don't celebrate VD. She's the best in the world, really. We're going to get Jioio's on Saturday and spend the day at her Mom's.

we agree its too much of a rip off = prix fixe menus and limited options. plus theyre trying to turn the table as fast as humanly possible.

We quit all things related to V-Day 9 years ago. The only thing still expected is flowers for her.
